Recently, my friend Megan from Honey We’re Home created the cutest set of canvases for her office. She was inspired by Pinterest and I was in turn inspired by her! As soon as I saw what she had done I knew that a my daughter had to have a new piece of heart art. Look what Megan created: I absolutely love how this turned out. So it was off to the local store to pick up some paint chips. My daughter’s room is pink, white, and a touch of sage green so I thought these would do the trick. I knew I wanted the overall look to be very soft and feminine. ………………………….…………….. paint chips Then I got busy punching hearts. It literally didn’t take more than ten minutes {max} to punch them all out. ……………………………… punching hearts I used little precut felt stickers to adhere to the back of each heart. Lining them up on the canvas is what took the longest. Then sticking them on went pretty quickly. And here it is in my daughter’s room sitting on her bookcase. Next on the list is either painting the back of her bookcase or using fabric to line it. So thank you to Megan and to London {Megan’s inspiration} for this fun idea. I am tempted to make one for my son’s room using a little train punch I have. Hmmmm. …………………………………..have a great day!
