On Friday I alluded to the fact that I have been sitting on a very big secret. It’s more like a dream come true but I want to give you a bit of the back story. I have one sister, Kristin. She and I have always been extremely close and even more so now that we are adults and have our own families. We have seen each other through thick and thin. We have experienced life’s greatest gifts as well as life’s most difficult tragedies. No matter what, she has always been a rock and a source of strength and friendship. At the end of the day, we are both mommies working hard to raise children that are happy, fulfilled, and successful. Here we are back in the day 
{kristin, with her dorothy hamill haircut, and me, with my stunning bun. thanks, mom!} Kristin is not only intelligent, beautiful, and remarkably talented, but she is also obsessed with styling interiors like I am. In fact, Kristin had her own design business in Southern California when her children were younger. She and her sweet family moved away for a few years and have now returned home to Orange County. I couldn’t be happier. 
I am so very very grateful for this blog and all of the wonderful readers, comments, and online clients that have emerged because of it. With business growing, it seemed only natural to expand. In doing so, Kristin and I have teamed up to form Casey Grace Design LLC. We are over the moon about collaborating on each client together and really following our passion. Here is a little peek at some of Kristin’s beautiful interiors: 
What will this mean for A Thoughtful Place? This blog is my baby. I have so enjoyed sharing ideas, learning from all of you, and forming really remarkable relationships. The blog will not change at all. I thank you for allowing me to be all over the map with the ideas I share and the topics I like to cover. I hope that you will continue to pop in each day or each week to see what’s happening in my little world. The only minor change will be that if you are interested in styling services, the link at the top of this page will now take you to Casey Grace Design. And of course I will share some interior photos from clients every now and again. 
What is Casey Grace Design all about? 
Kristin and I will continue to create style boards for online clients. Two creative minds are better than one, so we will collaborate on all online client projects. The true joy for us comes from not only doing what we love, but being able to do it together. We will also be consulting with local clients on an hourly basis. We offer interior styling in a way that is both accessible and affordable. You can read more about our services on our website. Where does the name Casey Grace Design come from? Both Casey and Grace are names of our Grandmothers on my mother’s side of the family. We really liked the idea of using names that held special meaning for us. Grace is also the middle name of my daughter and the first name of one if Kristin’s daughters. Thank you. I want to thank all of you. It’s because of this blog and because of the wonderful clients that I have worked with that business has grown and we are now able to launch Casey Grace Design.
