Hi, friends. Happy St. Patrick’s Day. It’s a pretty big holiday around here. My husband and I both have Irish heritage {hence our children both having Irish names} and as a graduate of ND there is a whole lot of Fighting Irish in my blood. Was so excited to work with the other room moms to surprise the children in my son’s class with a scavenger hunt left by the Leprechaun. I adore how excited and wide-eyed this age is. I wish it would last forever. {And huge thank you to the other room moms as they did the majority of the work!}. via brown eyed baker In other news, we are making great progress in the master bathroom renovation. And by we, I mean the dedicated and skilled people doing the work. They are rocking it. But I wanted to pop in and mention some fun things. I was able to hop over to a couple of my favorite blogs to hang out for a bit. Would love for you to check them out. lace tank top Do you know Krystine Edwards? She is just the cutest thing and she lives in gorgeous Charleston, South Carolina. And if you are thinking of moving there, she is your girl to find you the perfect home. She invited me to participate in her, “Guess who’s dropping in for coffee?” series. You may learn something you didn’t know about me. I’m dishing all about how this blog got started and what I did prior to pushing publish four years ago. Also sharing my favorite decorating tip and where else I would like to live! You can read the full interview here. And of course you all know my dear friend, Jen, from I heart Organizing. Possibly the biggest heart of any gal I know. We made some changes in our laundry room and added a wrapping station. You can check out all of the details and how we did it with really simple items right here. And last but not least, the children were thrilled to make their first cover! American Profile got a hold of the Cupcake party I threw for my daughter a few years back. They were looking for parties and Cassie sent them my way. Such a fun memento of a really special day for my Riley. I can’t get over their tiny squishy little faces. Where has the time gone? Seriously. It’s been nothing but joy watching these sweet children grow up together. So lucky to have the best neighbors in the whole world and to have our sweet Emma on the cover, too, was an extra special treat. You can see all the fun details of our Bake Shoppe Party here. To this day, it was one of the easiest and most special parties we have thrown. Off to work on my corned beef recipe for tonight! One of my very favorite nights of the year. Enjoy your day, everyone. And may the luck of the Irish be with you.

Just read the interview with krystine Edwards. Wow, you are multi-talented! You used to be a teacher?! You've inspired me this morning that I don't have to pick just one passion. I feel like there is such emphasis on "what's your thing?" Well I don't know, maybe I have lots of things and maybe that's ok. Thanks for this.
And Happy Paddy's Day from Ireland!
