An Irish Mantel & Weekend Wrap-Up

March 7, 2011 by Courtney 26 Comments

Both my husband and I have Irish in our blood and are up for a Guiness any time of the year! So it wouldn’t be March without a little bit of Irish Mantel love around here. Total cost of the mantel: $1.00!  You can’t beat that! ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….. a n   i r i s h   m a n t e l IMG_9952 The only purchase was a package of shamrocks from The Dollar Tree. I simply hole punched them and strung them on twine. The candles were wrapped in two layers of  scrapbook paper and finished off with a bit of twine. IMG_9957 IMG_9955 And thank you so much to Ladybird Ln who whipped up the Irish Blessing printable. You can print one here! A little bit of “Kiss Me, I’m Irish” on the chalkboard and we are ready to go. IMG_9958 IMG_9959 IMG_9953 ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. w e e k e n d    w r a p   u p Shifting gears, we decided to jump in the car and drive just over an hour to the snow this weekend.  It was fantastic. It was a glorious sun filled day with tubing, snow angels, giggles,  and snowball fights. 100_0038-2100_0040-1 Hope you all had a great weekend as well. And a shout out to April over at a kitchen table for two. I have recently met April and she couldn’t be sweeter. She highlighted a thoughtful place today in such a sweet way. Thanks, April! h a p p y    m o n d a y    e v e r y o n e ! Sharing this idea with: Polly Want a Crafter Just A Girl
