I get to hook one of you up with Honeywell Wi-Fi Smart Thermostat with Voice Control. It’s the same one I have.  A while back, I mentioned that my hubby had gone on and on and on about a new programmable thermostat. While much of it went in one ear and out the other, when Honeywell came to me and asked if we would like to try it, it made my husband’s day . . maybe his month! So it arrived and we quickly and easily installed it. IMG_6217 Let me tell you. I get what the fuss is about. Here’s’ the deal . . . no exaggeration . . .my house has never been so comfortable temperature wise. I have only had to adjust our temp maybe 2-3 times in the last two weeks. Why? Because this bad boy is smart. Not only is it voice controlled, but it asks us things like, "When does the first person get up?" and "When does the last person leave the house?" All of these questions allow you to raise or lower the temperature so you are not wasting energy or money heating a house with nobody in it. Likewise, I get to snuggle up with my comforter at night without the heat blazing. Just before waking, it turns on and warms up our home. LOVE. Another key aspect is that we have been snuggled up watching movies upstairs in our family playroom and we can use the mobile app to raise or lower the temp. Genius. Just the fact that I can talk to my thermostat and tell it to raise or lower the temperature is pretty darn cool. My husband is super handy and had no problem hooking it up.   61. The downstairs of our house is all travertine tile (huge, huge mistake) and makes the house freezing during the winter. It would be great to keep it a constant temperature so that we can stay downstairs during the winder and not hibernate upstairs!

We get up to bed each night and realize one of us forgot to turn down the heat, so we have to get out of our cozy bed to run back downstairs to turn the heat down. (big problems we have right?)   148. I would love to have one of these for our new home! My husband has been drooling over the smart thermostats like The Nest, and this one looks just as amazing. We just bought our first house after living in small apartments, so the bills are even higher and this will help keep energy costs down while still keeping us nice and cozy 🙂

  149. I want one of these!!! My house was built in the 80's and everytime I walk past our thermostat(s) I am reminded that I live in a house built in the 80's. Ugh!!!! With littles in the house this would be one less thing I would have to worry about! Thanks!!

    • We live in NY. I am always cold and my hubby is always warm. My three boys are a different story. My hubby would probably faint if we won this. We need to save on our heat bills big time. Thanks for the opportunity.
