Jewelry Storage: Updates

June 11, 2012 by Courtney 11 Comments

Some time ago I shared with you my little “girlie” space in our master bedroom. I carved out an area for my jewelry. It’s pretty much the last spot I visit before heading out for the day. Recently, I came across plastic bowls from The Dollar Tree. They were literally $.25 each as they were grouped in sets of four. I am sort of a sucker for little containers. I set them on top of candlestick holders to add more storage for my costume jewelry. IMG_9918   IMG_9910IMG_9911   I also realized that I could use the picture frame to hang a necklace or two. Hey, I will take any space I can get! IMG_9916IMG_9917   I am using one to host some of my business cards as well as my new favorite Lollia scent. It is Sugared Pastille from Anthroplogie and it smells just like the beach and sunshine. Summer here we come! IMG_9926 Adding pretty storage for only $1.00 makes me giddy with happiness. It’s the little things around here. I also convinced my hubby to switch up some lighting in our master bedroom closet. Will show you the latest additions to that space later in the week. ……………………. And in other news, happy birthday to my amazing sister. She is a best friend, confident, sounding board, support system, and inspiration. I am so very lucky to call her my sister. Kristin, I love you. Happy Birthday! Outdoor birthday party {via wedding by color via pinterest} Who wants to meet here for lunch? Amazing, right?! Have a great day, everyone!

The bowls and candlesticks look great. You could also hook earrings onto your fish ornament 🙂

What a great idea! I have so many candlesticks that I pick up here and there because I love them but run out of room for them because I have so many. Great idea!

There really needs to be a HGTV show on the functionality of the many things you can get at the dollar store to repurpose and look like something straight out of a Pottery Barn catalog!

Great idea. I have got to find a better spot for my jewelry. Currently in jewelry trays in a drawer. And, I must check out that scent by Lollia! Sounds heavenly. Happy Birthday to your sweet and talented sister.
