Not only is it Friday, but it’s Halloween! My children could barely sleep last night. I am not sure if it’s their ages or just being kids in general, but they are seriously crazy excited for tonight. While Halloween has never been my favorite holiday, seeing their excitement changes everything. They insisted on hosting a party tonight so we will have our sweet neighbors over for an easy Halloween dinner and then off to trick or treat. I wanted to give you a heads up in case you need anything last minute! I just ran to Michael’s yesterday. And while things are picked over, everything is 70% off and the kiddos were thrilled with the cute décor I brought home for their party. And if you are last minute with your meal planning like I am, here are a few easy ideas. via via via black and white party We will be keeping it simple. Hoping the parents of all the little ones don’t hate me for serving up cupcakes prior to trick or treating! How do you a throw a party without them, right? And if cupcakes aren’t your thing, these cookies are so easy, too. how to make these My husband and I had so much fun looking through old pictures of past Halloweens. My favorite may have been when we dressed up like bee keepers and the babies were bees, but this Mickey costume gets us every time. Our son was madly in love with Mickey and thought it was the best thing ever that he looked just like him! I guess these moments are why I end up embracing Halloween, after all. Wishing you all a really safe and fun night tonight. Enjoy making memories. Check in tomorrow as I have the start of my Holiday Gift Guide Series as well as a big reveal of the Dream Tree Challenge. So much going on!
