Good morning. I am so happy that so many of you found yesterday’s post helpful. Please let me know if you have any questions. Turning to fashion, I had so much fun trying on new Spring looks. To be perfectly honest, you have seen fewer outfit posts lately because I honestly wasn’t inspired by many of the styles as of late. But bring on Spring! LOVE the current lines and I think you will too. I tried on mostly dresses but stumbled upon a pair of cute cut-offs shorts, too.
KEEP IT CASUAL
With Southern California temps in the high 70s, its has me dreaming of Spring and shorts weather. A good cut-off pair of shorts are so easy to style. This white pair fits true to size and they are a tad longer in back which is key. Love them styled with a camo top. This one is really pretty with the subtle beige print but comes with a Nordstrom pricetag. This Amazon version will give you a similar look but for far less.
This pretty top caught my eye immediately. It’s thin but really sweet. You’ll want to wear a nude bra or tank under it.
I always look for something in a piece that makes it feminine and unique and this top has that. Look how sweet the cuffs are. A great Spring top that will look darling with white jeans, too.
Do you own these sneakers yet? I am telling you! They are so comfy and look so cute with everything. I wore them with a dress yesterday and had so many compliments. A great addition to your shoe collection.
UNIQUE & FUN
This snakeskin skirt is a fun one. It is a satin material and would look nice dressed up with a black top or kept casual with a t-shirt.
I have been wearing these Madewell t-shirts for years, but honestly the fit and quality of this Amazon one is now my favorite. And now they come in a pack of two white ones for $16. That is crazy. I toss them in the washer and dryer with no issue. Grab them before they sell out. They are true to size. I just bought two more.
PINK & NAVY TREND
There are so many great dresses right now. I was going crazy. I actually really wanted to try on this one but my store didn’t have it. It’s gorgeous. I loved this navy dress from the moment I slipped it on. It’s a nice heavy material that falls beautifully. It has a retro feel and is so striking in person.
The navy looks so pretty paired with the hot pink and white trim. The zipper in the back is gold and lined with hot pink. Great dress, girls.
This is another really fun dress. The ruffle trim at the arms is so pretty. This would be a fantastic wedding guest dress or for a more formal work event.
This navy dress has the best flow to it. I didn’t want to take it off. And a wonderful choice if you are looking to cover up the under arm area. It drapes so nicely across the chest and is as feminine as it gets. I would pair this with a simple nude strappy heel.
DREAMY DRESS
I fell in love with this one. In fact I have it on hold and I am trying to decide. This brand is a bit pricey but for good reason. Their pieces are so well designed and the fit is always perfect. This is a size 4 and fit well. However, if you are very busty you would want to go up one size.
The pretty bow in the back is a nice touch. This dress gets five stars from me. They have a way of designing dresses that are conservative yet still so sexy in the fit. Adore this little number.
PRETTY IN PINK
This dress took me by surprise. On the hanger I thought it was all wrong. But once on, I really liked it. The sweet little print reminds me of when my daughter was a baby. But the fit is sexy and feminine. The fit of the top makes me look bustier than I am so if you need a boost in that department, this is a fun dress. I really like the ruching around the middle and the feminine sleeve. This dress is a nice price point and very comfortable. It also comes in navy.
COMING SOON
This dress came home with me. I can’t wait to wear it. It also comes in a pretty blue. But I have a talent for ALWAYS picking out the one item that has not hit the online site yet. I do it every single time. I will keep an eye on the site and let you know when it comes on.
This dress is so versatile and I love the mustard yellow color. Plus it’a only $69.
UPDATE: Finally found it and it’s your lucky day! Under $40 here!!! Would be so cute for Easter.
SPRING BREAK PLANS
