Good morning. It’s such a fun day on the blog because I have a Spring try on session to share. I think it’s been well over a year. I have been shopping more times than I can count in the last few months and come home with nothing or feel as though there is nothing really cute to share. If I don’t want to buy it for myself, I’m certainly not going to suggest you do. But walking into Loft the other day was so much fun. The Spring line is absolutely adorable. In fact I bought several of the pieces and can’t wait to wear them. I’m breaking this try on into two sessions so let’s get started with neutral pieces I love. Oh, and I think everything is still 50% off.
MAYBE I HAVE A TYPE AT LOFT
The first thing to note is that you don’t see a ton of color here. I can’t help it! I always gravitate towards the neutrals. The other thing I would point out is that the pieces come to life when you put them on. Seeing it on the hanger doesn’t always do it justice. I have three pairs of denim to share and a handful of really pretty tops. Plus a couple more fun pieces. The store is filled with gorgeous color for Spring, so part two will include those pretty finds.
SPRING BLOUSES
Two thumbs up for this blouse. It’s feminine, pretty and perfect for Spring. It will look adorable with a pair of shorts. I also think this is a blouse that never goes out of style.
Let’s talk denim from Loft. I really liked the color and style of these. But I find that I have to go down one size in Loft jeans. I am usually a 25 and that is what these are. If you like a bit of room definitely stick with your usual size. If you prefer them more snug (as they do stretch) I would go down one size. These just have one spot of distressing and are a great color.
The second I put on this outfit I knew it was coming home with me. The jeans are incredibly soft and comfortable. I love the hemline on them. I went down one size in these for the snug fit.
The top is super soft and a really great weight. Plus it’s 50% off. The sizes are going quickly on this one. I am wearing a small. If you are very busty, I might consider going up one size. This top fits a little bit more snug than the usual Loft tops. So good, girls.
This photo is a great representation of the color of the denim. It’s a really light wash which is so pretty for this time of the year. The booties are a favorite of mine. Very comfortable, true to size, and a pretty warm white.
SMOCKED DETAIL
This ivory top also came home with me. I like the subtle print and the smocked detailing. It’s so feminine and pretty.

DRESS IT UP
This Spring blazer is perfect over this top. It’s a beautiful ivory color and looks great with the light denim. These sandals are the most comfortable shoes I own right now. Great addition to the wardrobe. For sizing purposes, I am wearing a size 2 in the blazer and a small in the top.

CLASSIC STRIPES
This top is incredibly soft. It’s another one I brought home. I accidentally grabbed the XS to try on and ended up liking the fit. The sleeves are still long enough and if you want a closer fit like this, consider going down one size. These jeans are really fun. A bit of a darker wash and flared and the bottom. Just a fun change. For reference I am 5’7″ and wearing 24 in the jeans.
CUTE COMBO
DARLING JUMPSUIT
So darn comfortable!!! The Lou & Grey line is always a sure bet when it comes to comfort. This jumpsuit is so soft and cute. It has pockets in the back and the waist is adjustable. This is a size small.
SPRING DRESSES
This dress caught my eye and I am so happy I tried it on. It’s a babydoll fit and very cute. Just needs to be steamed. This would be darling for Easter.
I like the print on print and the pretty sleeve details on this dress. The neutral sandals work really well with this. It’s definitely a loose fit which I think is nice for a change.
