Hi friends So while the full reveal is still a ways off, I wanted to give you a sneak peek of our new master bedroom. A while back, I showed some beautiful neutral spaces and hinted that I was leaning that way. I am not one to shy away from color {like our living room} but I wanted our master bedroom to be a true retreat. We have always loved our blue master, but are ready for a change. The jumping off point for this newly designed room is this wallpaper from Wallpaper Direct. We decided on one focal wall and could not be happier. I fought the inner DIYer in me and actually hired someone to hang the paper. Best money ever spent. They were in and out of my home in less than two hours and it would have taken me days. I also shared on Instagram that I was knee deep in Pale Oak {Benjamin Moore}. I am in love with this color. It is really almost a non color but is just the subtle gray/taupe we needed to let the wallpaper shine. Now I can infuse absolutely any color I want as the mood strikes. And for a girl that likes to switch things up that is a good thing. This room gets a ton of natural morning light and we are blessed with a very lush green view. So that really becomes a focal point now that the walls disappear. As much as I love the mirrored nightstand, I think I am ready for a change. I would like to bring in some wood to warm things up and give the room more texture. I haven’t made up my mind but love this one. This is another one calling my name. This one is far less expensive and is also a fun choice. Decisions, decisions. We have more to do in the master bathroom as well but I wanted to show you the new pale paint color. I sort of want to bathe in the paint color. That’s weird, I know, but I am just so in love with this shade. I am going for a more serene, spa like feel in here. The towel rack can be found here. plans for this room wallpaper new paint fresh bedding new rug switch up the nightstands artwork drapes ottoman new side table for chair That’s the first time I actually made a list and it’s scaring me a bit! I guess I do have quite a bit more to do before a whole room reveal. Having said that, it is so much fun to take my time and work on this space so that it is just how we want it. I am in slow motion with this room and that’s fine by me. You can see my progress post as well as my new bedding here. For those wanting to know sources, the lamp and mirrored nightstand are both from HomeGoods. The story of our custom headboard {and it’s a doozie} was told here. Hope you’re off to a great start of your week. If you missed out on my Target giveaway you can go here to check it out.

Could not love that wallpaper anymore! Have you tried Ben Moores new bathroom paint line called Aura Bath and Spa. It's amazing stuff. My daughter likes to take long steamy showers and this paint prevents all of the moisture and drips that form on the walls! Can't wait to see more progress! Gorgeous as always;)

Love the new wallpaper and wall color! Our bedroom was navy for 2 years and I loved it but wanted more neutral walls and white bedding so I could also change things up on a whim. Can't wait to see what you do in here!

Absolutely gorgeous! It is looking so great Courtney. You already know that I love Pale Oak. One of the best neutrals! We used it in our master and fell in love with it. I like your choices for the nightstands, especially those two from Restoration Hardware.
