Good morning! We woke up to a winter wonderland. More on that in a minute. I am pouring my second cup of coffee and trying to get work done (but all I want to do is stare at the snow). Here is a bit of what has been happening over here with our Monday Morning Wrap Up.
SO HAPPY I BOUGHT THESE
My new slippers arrived just in time for freezing temperatures and they are keeping me so toast. Highly recommend. They have arch support, are very comfy and come in more colors. I find them to be true to size (unlike the website says). I wear a 7.5 and bought the 7-8 and they are great (in fact a bit roomy which is nice for socks). These socks are the ones I wear with my Chelsea boots. The perfect weight and height in case you need some.
Our rug is a tried and true favorite and you won’t believe the price.
COTTAGE CHEESE MAGIC
I am always trying to incorporate more protein into my diet and have never like cottage cheese. It’s the consistency for me. Until I saw this trick. Blend it and add some buffalo sauce. Oh my goodness! I ate this with Seite chips as well and it’s fantastic. In case you are in my same boat, I thought this might be helpful.
CHECKERED POUFS
These poufs caught my eye the other day. If I were overhauling our bonus room I would be adding these. They are so cute. Would look great in a teen room or any fun space.
WINTER STORM
Last night was a doozy. Do people still say that? I was so excited it was snowing but my boys had been in Michigan for a hockey tournament and were trying to get home. I’ll spare you the long version but basically they landed in Nashville at 9:30 PM and pulled in our driveway at 2:30 AM (when much more snow had accumulated). I literally waited by the window praying I would see their headlights round the corner. Beyond thankful to have them home and now we can enjoy a relaxing couple of days. They sure earned it.
WINTER WONDERLAND
Nashville typically sees snow once a year and last year we had just a tiny dusting. So fun to have all of this fresh snow. My daughter planned a sleepover with her friends so they could all wake up and sled. Love the memories being made.
MY BIG PLANS
super soft rug on sale | photo box
Today’s snow day means plenty of this. Cozy slippers and a great book (can’t put it down). Of course I will get some work done as well, but mama will need a long nap after anxiously waiting for the boys until 2:30 AM.
RUG SALE
I noticed our rug is on sale. We absolutely love the colors and it’s incredibly soft.
By the way, I have these boots and adore them. They keep your feet so warm and dry. Great for snowy days. Really happy I bought them a few years ago. These are also fantastic and available on Amazon.
Stay warm and cozy. I know many of you have winter weather happening right now, too. And I always appreciate you stopping by. Maybe I will even get to a project or two during our snow week. Keep you posted.

I have 3 pair of Dearfoam slippers:) My PT said we should all wear either slippers or a dedicated pair of shoes in the house as some of our flooring can be as hard as walking on a sidewalk barefoot. She said she suffered from dailly headaches until she started wearing slippers in the house. She recommended the ones with the “shoe type” sole.
Stay warm, glad the guys made it back safe and sound:)

The snow looks beautiful! I’ve been eyeing those Sorrel boots to take to Mammoth – I definitely need something relatively slip proof.
