Let’s do this, Monday! Woke up ready to tackle the week which feels good. We are slowly but surely getting ready to demo the basement (said with major trepidation). It’s exciting and nerve-racking so I will keep you posted. This was the first weekend in a long time my boys were not out of state for hockey so it was nice having the family under one roof. Here is a look back with our Monday Morning Wrap Up.
BLUE SKIES
We have been blessed with incredible weather the past few days. Nothing like a crisp morning with bright blue skies. The Farmers’ Market is our go-to on Saturday morning. So thankful to all of our local farmers keeping our family well fed.
SPRING STYLE AT TARGET
Target is dangerous right now. So many cute things for Spring. I love these lightweight button downs that come in so many great colors. Stripes, too. These are a heavier fabric (like linen) and really pretty in person. And I picked up these heels (like them so much I bought them in two colors).
WONDERFUL GIFT IDEA
This box arrived last week and we were so grateful. A friend of my husband’s sent this after hearing of the loss of his mom. It had chicken noodle soup, mac n’ cheese, rolls and cookies. Plus this daring soup ladle. This was loved by everyone in the family and we will absolutely be using Spoonful of Comfort the next time we hope to spread some cheer. Love this idea so very much. And it was really appreciated after a long day of hockey practice.
NASHVILLE DATE NIGHT
We snuck away for a date night this past weekend which was long overdue. There has been so much travel lately which has made it hard for us to take some time. Locals, we tried out Puttshack in Nashville and it was really fun. The 9 hole course goes quickly (30 minute) so I would recommend doing two rounds. You make a reservation ahead of time online and when you go in, just head to the kiosk to check in. It would be fun for a double date, too. We headed to Adele’s for dinner after which is super close. Nice evening out and home early enough to be around for the teens’ plans. A win-win.
GALENTINE’S PARTY
It was really nice to take some time out on Sunday to be with friends and enjoy a Valentine’s Day inspired get together. So many feminine and fun details. If you are looking for a cute idea, I thought the candy cocktail glass was really clever (and good for any age). I’ll take any excuse to get dressed up and spend quality time with my girlfriends. Always nice to talk parenting, business and all things mom-life.
ON DECK THIS WEEK
Do you have the Big Bites cookbook? We are loving it!!! I make the kale salad and my daughter takes it school most days. This salad is on deck this week as well as the company cake my son requested. I feel inspired again . . . have been in such a cooking rut. I handed the cookbook to the kids last night and asked them to pick out a couple of things they would like me to make this week. Nice when they are involved in choosing.
THIS WHOLE LOOK
The second I saw this I knew I wanted to recreate the look. I love everything about it. Then I realized the sweater is actually part of the blazer (can be removed). GENIUS. I just need to wear my Amazon t-shirt and favorite jeans. Done!
What is on your agenda this week? I hope your day starts out on the right foot. I’ve been organizing a bit over here and can’t wait to share some of the spaces with you.

Spoonful of Comfort was a gift from a manager about a year ago. Delicious and beautiful gift!
I am starting to plan for my son’s graduation. What are you thinking of wearing for your daughter’s graduation? And if you are doing a party for her, what do you plan to wear for that?
