I hope your Monday morning is starting off well. We had a very full weekend so the alarm was a bit of a shock to the system today. Holy week is upon us and I hope you’ll be able to enjoy a slower pace and time with family. We will be having a quiet Easter but very much looking forward to it. I do, however, need to pull together the baskets this week. Here is a bit of life lately with the Monday Morning Wrap Up.
LEIPER’S FORK
The weather this weekend was gorgeous. While we were able to get a few things done around the house, we also wanted to take advantage of the blue skies and sunshine. A drive to Leiper’s Fork is always one of our favorite things to do. The barns, rolling green hills, and small town charm are good for my soul.
FOXE AND LOCKE
We also popped in to Fox and Locke for some live music. It’s always nice when we bump into friends as well. Leiper’s Fork is always a wonderful reminder to slow down.
SUPPORT SMALL
If you are local, a friend let me know that Mercantile 1858 could use our support. The owner has two shops and the one in Arrington is suffering due to construction. I always think it’s so awful when small businesses suffer due to things out of their control. We stopped in to show some love and take a look around. Amazing antiques, decor and gift ideas. My son even had fun looking at the vintage cameras and old books.
I found some fun things for our Easter table including this handmade bunny banner. I love that I can hold onto it forever and it’s easy to store. Such a pretty, vintage feel.
SAVORING THESE MOMENTS
Saturday night found us hosting 40 girls for a group my daughter is apart of. Talk about a full heart. These days are winding down and there’s nothing better than a full house. It truly makes me so happy and I am keenly aware of how much I will miss it when she is off to college next year.
BACK IN STOCK
If you had your eye on the cream version of this sneaker it’s back in stock!!! I just ordered mine. The designer version is $850.
DON’T MISS OUT
The Amazon Spring sale ends today and I have to say it’s been a darn good one. I absolutely took advantage and bought some things we have been wanting.
I treated myself to these baking sheets and can’t wait for them to arrive. I have been wanting them ever since my dear friend told me about them. They are a huge splurge (now 24% off) but will last a lifetime. These are the type of baking sheets you can pass down. Completely non-toxic stainless steel and won’t warp. I thought I bought nice ones from William Sonoma when we moved here and they are already ruined. I figure we cook every single day so these are a wise investment for us. These would be a fantastic wedding gift if someone near and dear to you is getting married.
- These no-show socks are my favorite. Ordered a set for Riley, too. 20% off
- I stocked up on another box of the moisture bags for our closets
- These satin pillowcases are 2 for under $10!
- These best selling cooling pillows are 73% off! Bought for my daughter.
- This is 36% off and my hubby’s favorite! Amazing Father’s Day gift (wireless thermometer)
You can see all of my Amazon Spring Sale picks in one spot. And if you missed Saturday Shopping, it was a really fun one (catch up here).
