Good morning. How was your weekend? I hope you had a wonderful time celebrating Mother’s Day. I know it can look different for all of us. We were blessed with beautiful weather which in and of itself felt like a gift. This week holds the last of the AP exams for my our kiddos, my son’s 16th birthday, and graduation prep. Such an exciting month. Here is recap of this past week with our Monday Morning Wrap Up.
MOTHER’S DAY BRUNCH
I was honored to attend an event hosted by Travis Mathew and Mary Lawless Lee. It was inspiring to sit with women who are doing wonderful things in their lives. I love hearing other people’s stories and how they are using their gifts for good. I also thought having a photo and everyone’s place was a genius idea. This was in lieu of a place card and I will be using this idea for sure.
We have been huge supports of Travis Mathew for years and now so excited to be supporting Travis Mathew Women’s as well. They originally started out of Orange County, CA so it’s a brand that is near and dear to my heart. Maddie and Mary are wearing pieces from the line and they were so cute. The leggings are on my birthday wishlist.
MOTHER’S DAY
Mother’s Day really was a perfect combination of family time and relaxing. We enjoyed lunch at The Farm House in Nashville and did a little bit of shopping at 5th and Broadway. It just felt so good to have all four of us together for a handful of hours. I love these ages and so appreciate quality time with my teens.
Later that afternoon my two needed to study so Ryan and I enjoyed walking around Franklin and listening to live music in the courtyard of The Harpeth Hotel . The perfect way to wrap up a lovely weekend.
AMAZON FIND
Thank you for all of the really kind comments on our daughter’s birthday brunch. It really was such a fun morning. A few of you asked for this link. These dessert stands were an Amazon find and they really are so pretty. I will be reusing them for her graduation party.
BEAUTIFUL BOOTS
There is nothing better than walking into the Tecovas store. The smell of the leather is so good! Plus it’s a beautiful store. My daughter received these boots for her 18th birthday and we needed to exchange for a different size. They definitely run big. She went down a full size. If you are in the market for a beautiful pair of boots, these really are so pretty. It’s her first official pair since moving to Tennessee so she is really excited.
CUTE WHITE DRESS
Tis the season for needing one million dresses, or so it seems. We bought this white one for my daughter to wear under her cap and gown. It’s really cute. I love the cut and the buttons on it. *If your daughter has really long legs I think it could look too short.
If you missed this week’s Saturday Shopping, you can see that here.
Feeling calm and recharged after such a nice weekend. The to-do list is a mile long but planning to just knock things out one at a time. I’m sure your May is just as hectic so I am sending all of the productive vibes your way. Let’s do this, ladies.
