Monday Morning Wrap Up

Morning! We are waking up with such grateful hearts. We may be tired but so thankful for a weekend with our college girl. More on that below. We are also in full swing with the basement project so it’s a busy and productive week ahead. The floors are going in today! Here is a bit of what we have been up to with the Monday Morning Wrap Up.

SUNRISE BEAUTY

I’ve been trying to get up earlier and earlier and it’s been so nice to catch the sunrise from our deck. They say first morning light has many positive health benefits and works to establish a great circadian rhythm. Are you an early riser?

GREAT NEUTRAL PILLOW

I ordered two of these neutral pillows for the back patio but now I may keep them inside. I am so pleasantly surprised. They come with inserts but of course you could always use your own, too. Such pretty texture for Fall. These are a nice way to bring in the warmth of fall without the darker colors.

FALL PIECES I LOVE

Speaking of Fall, this dress is so much fun. Pretty gold buttons on a warm and cozy plaid. Definitely size down in the dress. I am usually a 2 and am wearing the 0. It’s currently on sale for under $60.

The boots are beyond comfortable. They are memory foam and a dream to wear. These are great if you have smaller calves like I do. And they are under $50. They come in two colors and I have the lighter version (a pretty milk chocolate color). My bracelet is a favorite piece as well.

IT’S HOCKEY SEASON

So excited to kick off another hockey season with our son. He is having so much fun with the sport and it was fun to cheer on his team in their first game. It’s a talented group of boys and so fun to watch.

PARENTS’ WEEKEND

We spent the weekend in Oxford, MS for Parents’ weekend. I am still on cloud 9 from seeing Riley and getting to see a slice of her new college life. I can’t say enough great things about the weekend. We adore Oxford and everyone you meet is so friendly and nice. Her friends are all so warm and kind which makes this mama very happy.

OLE MISS TRADITIONS

This was my first SEC game and holy cow. Boy do they do it up. It was a blast and we loved every minute of it.

SUCH A HAPPY HEART

Immensely proud of this young lady. It was so much fun being out with her sorority one of the nights. But let’s just say it solidified the fact that I am old! My ears were ringing for a good hour after we got back to the hotel. To be young again!

SO COMFY
