Good morning. We were surprised by my daughter coming home for the weekend and it was such a gift. Having her in the house was magic. I’ve never been so happy to do four loads of laundry and cook homemade meals for her. We savored every second of the time. If you have sent babies off to college, you know exactly what I am talking about. Here is a look at life lately on this Monday morning.
STARTING YOUNG
I want to give a shout out to Grey from Petal Flower Company who is 14 and a young entrepreneur. She created the first petal flower cart and had it at Hank’s Coffee this weekend. Amazing! My daughter and her friends loved spending time here and enjoying the sunshine.
OUTDOOR AMPHITHEATER
If you come to town, definitely check to see if there is a show at First Bank Amphitheater. It’s nestled within a rock quarry and a beautiful spot to hear live music. I had given Ryan tickets for Father’s Day so it was fun to finally see the concert.
A nice couple walking by snapped one photo for us. Happy to have but don’t mind my eyes have closed. This black faux leather jacket is still an absolute favorite of mine.
Pro tip: wear very comfortable shoes because it is a bit of walk from the parking lot (but an easy walk). We also like to buy the seats with the backs instead of sitting on benches (showing our age).
HAPPY PLACE
We saw Gregory Alan Isakov and Ray LaMontagne. We’ve been listening to Ray LaMontagne since the kids were little.
SO MUCH INTEREST
Recently I shared about Oliveda in my stories and had such a positive response. So many are looking for clean, effective skin care and just wanting to feel like the best version of yourself. I am all about trying to age gracefully. I will do a dedicated post soon but I made the switch after I could no longer buy Beauty Counter products. I am seeing such great results from these products. While they are new to me, they are hardly new and have been around for years. They originated in Germany where standards for clean products are much higher.
What’s known as Botox in a Bottle is back. It’s known to extend botox or for those who don’t want to go that route, it helps smooth out skin texture. Great for fine lines. I love using it on my forehead and see a huge difference. It sells out often but is currently available. The reviews on it are wonderful.
I just want to feel confident about my skin and I am really thankful for the changes I’ve seen. When even your husband is commenting on your skin looking youthful, you go with it. This is the trio I’ve been using. And this to remove makeup. If you don’t know what you need, you can take a quiz that will help identify the products that would be good for your skin and desires (plus a free product).
To answer the question down below, yes, you can enroll if you would like to. It’s a $50 fee but you always get the discounted price on the products. For example, instead of paying $96.25 for F59 it is $72.19. That is what I did because it made the most sense to me. You would then have the ability to buy the products through your own link. Hope that makes sense. You are more than welcome to email me if you have questions about going that route.
I love hearing this and have started incorporating this retinol into my routine. Happy to keep you posted but you can also read reviews on it here.
If anyone in your family struggles with acne, these acne drops are back in stock and the testimonials speak for themselves. I am also a firm believer that you need to lower your sugar intake when trying to fight acne, too. That helps to heal it from the inside.
A FEW BIG SALES THIS WEEK
I love this nightstand and wish I had found them for our beach rental. They look like Serena & Lily to me but without the price tag. They are currently part of Way Day in case you are looking for something to put by your bed.
These are the nightstands we used in our guest room. They come in so many colors. Love this style and the dimensions.
Target also has Circle Week going on. To be very honest, the deals are really good. I am regretting not waiting to stock up on the bathroom towels. Great savings right now. And if you are looking for a stainless air fryer, this one is now $99 (usually $249).
I am off to paint the base cabinets in our basement! Doors are being made and painted but I do need to put the color on the frames. Excited to share the progress in stories.
On a more serious note, we have friends prepping for the next hurricane which is about to hit Florida. I can’t believe this is happening. If you believe in miracles, this is a good time to be praying for one. Communities already suffering are now directly in the path.

Does the Oliveda cleansing oil do as good a job as the Colleen Rothschild cleansing balm at removing liquid foundation? Also, didn’t you say you paid the $50 up front and it gives you a discount so you could get a discount each time?
