Monday Morning Wrap Up

October 14, 2024 by Courtney 1 Comment

How are you on this Monday morning? We just wrapped up fall break. We chose to stay in town and are thankful for that. I love this area during fall so I never want to leave it. Very chilly morning today which is a nice way to kick off the week. Basement construction continues so I will be sure to share the progress in stories.

FALL TOUCHES

backyard fall

There is something special about this time of the year. It feels good to bring in fall touches here and there. Our white chairs are currently sold out, but the sectional can be found here (highly recommend).

MUMS THE WORD

fall fern

I know mums are all the rage and they are to be watered from the bottom, but I never have much luck with them. If you are in the same boat, these pretty plants are nice to sprinkle in. The colors are fantastic for Fall and they always last for me.

LOCAL SPOT

feed mill

And if you are local, Nolensville Feed Mill is a the perfect place to grab pumpkins. They have incredible prices. Even the large pretty ones are around $6. They also have tons of fresh goods inside so be sure to stop in. Always nice to support local, small business.

FALL STOREFRONTS

downtown franklin

Speaking of small business, Franklin is full of darling shops and I love how they sprinkle in fall decor in front of their stores. So welcoming.

TIME TO GATHER

pretty plates

Hester & Cook is a favorite of mine. It feels like a warm hug from my mom because it’s everything she loved. It’s full of beautiful items to gather around a table and darling seasonal decor. It is truly a beautiful shop.

WEEKEND WRAP UP

sunday night

We capped the weekend sitting by the fire pit (ours is from here). It’s our favorite way to end a night. Fresh air, good conversation and warmth of the fire.

BEFORE IT GOES

I noticed this flocked tree is in stock (pre lit). These go quickly. We love the one we have and have had it for years. Last year we put it in our kitchen and hung popcorn and gingerbread cookies on it. Such a fun way to carry on a tradition I had growing up.

brown sparkle trees

And I just saw that our sparkle trees are back in stock. I leave these up all through January when we could use a little sparkle. Highly recommend these. LOVE THEM.

Wishing you a really great Monday. Looking forward to my son’s hockey games this week and being productive with the basement. Also looking for hands on ways to help in East Tennessee after so much destruction.
