Monday Morning Wrap Up

Good morning. The sun is shining and the air is crisp. Feels like a gift on this Monday. How was your weekend? Are you ready for the week? I probably should have spent some time meal planning yesterday. It’s one of those times where the fridge is empty and I’m dreading the grocery store. Can anyone related? Here is a bit of life lately with our Monday Morning Wrap Up.

FALL WEEKEND

These days have been really beautiful – bright blue skies and mild temperatures. Looking forward to seeing the leaves change. It’s probably my favorite aspect of living somewhere with four seasons. That and these beautiful country roads.

DOING WHAT HE LOVES

The highlight of my week is watching this kid play hockey. I love watching him enjoy the sport and working hard out on the ice.

THE FEED MILL

The Amish make incredible sourdough bread and I have been picking it from our local Feed Mill. Also a great place to grab a bite to eat and sit out back by the creek. If you are local, this spot is a gem.

BASEMENT PROGRESS

Our cabinet fronts and drawer fronts are in! They turned out so beautiful. I am in love with this color. It is Ashwood Moss by Benjamin Moore. It’s a deep saturated hue with green undertones and so pretty in person. I think the kitchen portion of the space should be wrapped up in about a week which is really exciting.

DATE NIGHT

My husband was gone for the last five days so it’s great having him back. We capped the weekend at Perry’s which is a local spot we love. With the weather being so lovely, sitting on the patio is our favorite.
