Good morning. I am in disbelief that Christmas is just over two weeks away. Time, please slow down. I love this time of year and hate to see it go quickly. How are you feeling about the month? Hopefully slowing down enough to enjoy the special little moments. We are anxiously awaiting finals to wrap up for our girl so she can head home. Here is a look back at life lately with our Monday Morning Wrap Up.
DATE NIGHT
With all of the holiday get togethers and busy schedule, we are big on sneaking in date nights. This past week we had dinner at Culamar in downtown Franklin. The salmon is delicious! Be sure to make a reservation. There were so many families with small children eating dinner before the tree lighting. Made us teary eyed to think how quickly the years have gone. I began this blog when my children were toddlers. So hard to believe.
TREE LIGHTING
Downtown Franklin is always magical, but during Christmas it’s next level. Truly feels like a Hallmark movie. My favorite part is the town singing Christmas carols prior to the lighting. Such a memorable evening each year.
MY HEART
This past week my son’s hockey team faced some former teammates and it was so special to see these boys back on the ice together. Even more touching when they invited our boys (in black) to join the prayer circle after the game. I truly love watching my boy play.
THE WREATHS ARE UP
Well, it might be December 9 but the wreaths are finally up! One of my favorite decorations. Have you finished with your decor yet?
GIFT IDEA UNDER $20
There was such a positive response when I shared this gift idea on Instagram so wanted to share here, too. I have had this cutting board for years and love it. I added a holiday kitchen set to it with a big red bow. This comes in just under $20 which is great for gift exchanges or hostess gifts. The red ribbon can be used for two gifts. All linked here.
SUCH A GOOD ONE
Last but not least, my dear friend wore this dress to an event recently and it’s gorgeous! Such a beautiful dress (and not this short unless you are very tall).
I also noticed these beautiful boots are 50% off. One of my favorite brands and they also come in black.
This past Saturday Shopping post was one of the most viewed. It’s a fun one and can be seen here. Have a really great Monday.
