Good morning! Our freezing temps have abated and we are expected blue skies and sunshine. Great start to the week. How was your weekend? I’ve been working away in the basement to get things ordered and placed so I will be anxious to share soon. I gave myself a late March deadline . . .sometimes that is the only way I get things accomplished. Here is a look back with our Monday Morning Wrap Up.
THE RYMAN

If you are ever visiting Nashville, please put the Ryman on your list. It was originally built in 1892 as a place of worship lead by Reverend Sam Jones. It’s a beautiful building and our favorite place to take in a concert. For 2025, we’ve made it a goal of ours to see live music once a month (if not more). This past week we saw one of our favorites, Lee Brice. And Edwin McCain opened and closed with him. Incredible!

This wall of guitars by legendary artists is so special. You can also take a tour of the Ryman which we have yet to do but I have heard it is well worth it.
LET’S STROLL THROUGH TARGET

I took a very leisurely stroll through Target. Can’t do that without thinking of my mom and feeling like she is with me. These slip covered ottomans are ADORABLE. If I had a spot for one or two, I would absolutely scoop these up. The vases can be found here.

Always a sucker for small bowls. I use them all the time for dips, mixing spices or serving up fruits and nuts. The scallops on this set make it so pretty. A nice hostess gift for the spring, too.

These coupe glasses were calling my name. They come in three different colors and a brought home a couple for the basement bar. They look high end but are well priced.

This faux tree is a 10/10. I saw it and accidentally said, “That is so cute!” out loud. Another shopper heard me and said, “They sure are!”
These really do look so great in person. Ideal for on top of a counter or a console table.

My daughter and her roommate decorated in blue and white and this caught my eye. It’s a really pretty throw and those boxes coordinate perfectly.
HOCKEY PLAYOFFS

We are also right in the middle of hockey playoffs. I love watching my boy play (he’s on the left). It’s so much fun and I can’t believe he’s been carrying a hockey bag over his shoulder since he was 9. Where does the time go? Look forward to cheering on his team and watching him do what he loves.
I’m off to enjoy a cup of hot tea and then head to a bible study. It’s our first week and I’m so looking forward to it. It falls on a Monday which is always the day I get a lot of work done. Needing to shift some things around but something tells me it will be worth it.
I hope this Monday is a really great start to your week. Thank you for being here. Oh and if you missed out on Saturday Shopping you can find that here.
