Good morning! I took the weekend off so it’s nice to get back into the swing of things. Despite fitting in some rest this weekend, I’m not sure I’m ready for the week. Here’s hoping for a very productive day today. How was your weekend? A look back at our week reminds me why I was tired over the weekend. Here is a recap with our Monday Morning Wrap Up.
DAVID GRAY
David Gray is one of our all time favorite artists. I was on strict bedrest for 14 weeks with our Riley and can remember listening to his White Ladder CD every single day. It was pure joy to see him in concert at the Ryman this past week. And the crowd was incredible. Pure appreciation for his talent and music. Live music is our favorite way to spend an evening and the Ryman never disappoints.
SPRING IS IN THE AIR
I can feel Spring on it’s way! The grass is starting to green up and the temps are so much more mild. Bring on sundress weather. Are you ready? We snuck in a date night to Bricktops (neighborhood favorite) but forgot to snap a photo.
GRATEFUL HEARTS
Such a random selfie but I had to share because our dear friends came out to watch multiple hockey games. Without a child of their own playing, these families came out to cheer on our boy which meant the world to us. Especially when most games didn’t end until 10:45 at night. When you don’t have family nearby, friends become that family and we are so grateful.
WHAT A SEASON
These boys made it to the championship game and came so close. Lost by one in overtime but it was an amazing game. The student section was packed and we loved being a part of the high school hockey season. In the past, our son had only played travel so this was a really fun experience. Loved every minute of watching this boy play.
IN THE GARDEN
I spent some of the weekend in the yard (which I’m paying for now with my back) because it needs so much love. Removing dead plants and getting things cleared out to plant anew. If anyone could drive by and wave a magic wand over our landscaping that would be great. Keeping things alive over here is a struggle! The frustration level is high but hopeful we can get it looking good this spring.
DETOX BATH
I’m determined to incorporate some things that are good for the nervous system. That includes more baths. And if you have a cordless lamp, it’s perfect to rest near the bath.

So many cute dresses from Target! I ordered the black midi and the white strapless dress. Can’t wait for them to arrive.

THE OCEAN IS CALLING

Off to get in my steps and then plan out the week. For those of you who so graciously prayed for our friend, Stacy, it’s working! She is healing and undergoing physical therapy. Thank you so very much. God is good.
