Good morning. How was your weekend? We were able to spend time with friends, played outside, and knocked out a ton of chores. A good mix of fun and productivity. I just can’t wrap my head around the fact that Easter is in less than three weeks. I need to put together some Easter baskets for the kids so I will be sure to share teen ideas. Here is a peek at what we have been up to.
SPRING IS HERE

Spring is here! These gorgeous trees bring so much joy. In fact there is a street near us that has them lining the entire stretch. Just so pretty. I love when the grass begins to turn green and the trees bloom. It feels like such a gift.
ANTIQUE SHOPPING

We spent some of the weekend antique shopping. If you are ever visiting, the Franklin Antique Mall is so much fun to walk through. We came home with a couple of goodies. Nothing better than a piece that tells a story.
SPRING AT TARGET

cake dish | scallop bowl | planter | flower | wreath
From antique shopping to Target. . . quite the juxtaposition! But this spring line from Hearth and Hand is really pretty. I love the blush colored scalloped serving bowls. So very pretty. The cake dish is beautiful as well.
GREAT FRAME FIND

Major frame alert!!!!! If you are looking to frame something 24 x 36 this frame is fantastic. The white edge is actual matting. So good, you guys. I bought three for artwork we are putting in the basement. Can’t wait to share. I don’t think they ship, but you can oder online and pick up (or have delivered).
SHRIMP TACOS

Food photography is not my thing and I snapped this quickly before devouring them. These shrimp tacos are gluten/dairy free and so good.
- marinade 1lb shrimp in 3 cloves of garlic and 4 tbsp of olive oil for 30 minutes
- cook on medium-low heat for 1-2 minutes each side
- Serve with Siete Casava tortillas, diced pineapple, cilantro, lime wedge, chopped red onion, & lettuce
- For the sauce: 1/3 cup of coconut yogurt, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp garlic and juice of 1 lime
RADNOR LAKE

We walked around Radnor Lake last week. It’s one of our favorite spots. A great walk and just so beautiful. A must do if you come our way. I’ve been devoted to using my walking pad every morning but it’s even better when I can add in a nature walk.
If you missed this week’s Saturday Shopping you can check it out here. And the Spring Sale Event at Amazon ends today. You can see my recommendations here. I ordered my items last night before the prices go back up.

These are an absolute favorite. In fact I just ordered as set for Riley for next year. We use them multiple times a day and can’t recommend them enough. Now only $11. The narrow end fits in spice jars and they can rest on the counter without spilling. Plus, with two ends you can use them for different ingredients without rinsing in between. They really are great.
Make it a great Monday, friend. We have rainy weather after some intense storms last night. I’m off to bible study which has been a really lovely way to start the week. Thankful for a group of strong, faithful women who raise each other up.
