Do you have a nice weekend? Ours ended up being productive because the storms kept us in for much of it. Things are looking up weather wise so I’ll take it. Plus everything is as green as can be and it’s so beautiful. Very thankful. I hope you’ll grab a warm cup of coffee or tea and join me for the Monday Morning Wrap Up.
BEAUTIFUL PHOTOGRAPHS

In basement news, the artwork arrived and the photographs are even prettier in person. They are incredibly crisp and the warm tones are so pretty. We wanted to add some fun elements down here and love this trio. Such a talented photographer. When Ryan and I were dating, for our one year anniversary he made me a CD with a CD jacket. The cover of it was a beautiful tight shot of his guitar strings. This center photo reminds us so much of that.
HOMESTRETCH

For this space we ordered 24″ x 36″ photographs and used these black frames. I liked that the frames came with matting. And kudos to this guy for hanging them perfectly. I’ll share the full wall soon.
In case you missed it, I shared sources in this recent basement post.
SHRIMP & ZOODLES

This was so yummy I had to share. Very easy and both gluten and dairy free.

DATE NIGHT DODGING STORMS

Saturday night we had plans to go to downtown Nashville and give our daughter a hug (she was in town for a formal) but the weather had other plans. She was hunkered down in a stairwell during a tornado watch. Thankfully all was well but this area sure did take a beating with flooding and strong winds.
We decided to stay local and snuck out in between thunderstorms to Rutledge. They have such a fun bar area and we were able to keep an eye on the final four baskettball game and enjoy some one on one time.
DATE NIGHT LOOK

These are all closet staples of mine that I love and wear often. The blazer (under $40) could not be softer and has a very flattering fit. The sleeves are scrunched by design so you don’t have to worry about them falling straight. The cami is buttery soft. And the latest version of these jeans is on sale right now. I adore them so much. Always get compliments. They are so easy to dress up a bit.
And looking at this photo I would have liked to have gone with my pointy patent leather heels but I chose older ones because of the puddles and rain. If you don’t have a simple black clutch, this is perfect. I spotted this black purse at Nordstrom and may put in on my birthday wish list. Really cute.
THE SWEETEST REUNION

My girl was in town for a formal and happened to run into one of her besties! I love that this town still feels small. This was Riley’s very first friend when we moved here and they have continued to have an amazing friendship for the last four years.
SATURDAY SHOPPING

I love that this was a fan favorite of this week’s Saturday Shopping post! It made me feel less alone in my supplement regime. It’s genius to have it broken down by times of the day. There are so many beautiful summer dresses in this week’s post so if you missed it, be sure to take a peek.
ANY BACK SLEEPERS?

Any back sleepers out there? I have been waking up with terrible neck pain and I know it’s my pillow. I already had a special pillow for back sleepers but it’s seen better days and no longer supporting my neck. This one has 11k rave reviews and a friend of mine swears by it. I literally can’t wait for it to arrive. Thought I would share in case you are in the same boat.
I hope you have a beautiful start to the week. I’m headed to bible study which always fills me up. Thank you for stopping in. Be back tomorrow with more Easter basket ideas. I need to get moving on that myself!
