Hi, friends. So excited to find my new business cards in the mailbox. I am headed off to Haven next week so it was a great excuse to get on the ball and order up some new cards for the blog. I actually designed some for Alt that I really loved, but they were printed too light. Such a bummer. But I couldn’t be happier with the new look. Here they are: … ……………………….the front … ……………………… the back … I got the idea of showing some of my work on the back from Kirsten. I used three photos from client spaces we have done. It is a nice quick way for people to get a sense of our style and what we do. I have always had a crush on Minted. In fact, my daughter’s room is designed around one of their prints. They really have an amazing selection of business cards. I love that they have so many artists creating such beautiful designs. And in other news, summer is just keeping us crazy busy. We are either swimming, riding bikes, doing crafts or heading off on some excursion. Does this sound familiar to all of you. Holy cow. It’s a bit nuts. So in between all of that, I am trying to get some projects completed and hope to show them to you soon. Summer To Do List Finish the living room drapes Hang the drapes File away first grade papers into this system File away preschool papers into this system Make pillows for Riley’s bedroom Continue working on a blog update So there is a lot going on but I have nothing to show for it! I hope I am not the only one. I am looking forward to showing off some beautiful living rooms tomorrow! They are all features from Instagram friends. You won’t want to miss it.

Oh, I hear ya! Between swimming and playing outside, my to do list keeps growing. 🙂 I always thought I would have so much extra time over the summer for projects. What was I thinking?!? 🙂 I love the new business cards. I wish I was meeting you in Haven, but I'll be heading to blog podium in Toronto this fall. I may take that business card idea (with images on the back) from you!

Oh my gosh yes – that is exactly where I am – on the one hand I don't want summer to end because we're having so much fun but on the other I'm ready to get back into a regular routine of actually getting things done around here. I don't think I've completed a single project since summer started. But I've had a lot of fun! Can't wait to see you next week! Your cards are awesome – love the pics on the back – so perfect for a designer!

I may need to check out Minted for cards for myself. I have my original cards from when I first started and my own design style has changed since then. Yours look great. And I hear ya on the crazy busy summer…
