I stumbled upon these luggage tags at Michael’s. They were in the $2.00 section { I of course thought they were part of the $1.00 section and was a little surprised when I checked out and the bill was twice what I thought . . . but still a good deal!}. I love them because they have letters on them, but you can also turn them around and write your own label to stick in the window. They are great for organizing children’s toys or for labeling baskets of books in a bookcase. They work great on these Itso bins {target} I use for the children’s toys in our bonus room. I have the bins labeled for Trains, Balls, Grady, and Riley. The initials are easy for the kids to identify where to put things. Not sure why the red looks so bright in these photos. The colors are not quite this vibrant in real life! In the bookshelf where we really need to store a ton of books {and not just cute decorator things} I divide up the look of “all books” with baskets. This one has all of our travel books in it and it is labeled accordingly with the luggage tag. Do you have a fun way of labeling your bins? Would love to hear more ideas. Here is a sneak peak of a piece of furniture I am working on for my son’s big boy room! So excited! Hoping to add the finishing touches this week so I can show you. My basket method is to rummage through each one until I find what I'm looking for…perhaps I should invest in your smart organization!
LOVE the map…they are so great in boy's rooms too!

awesome idea… both the tags and putting the books in the baskets. My husband has a TON of not so pretty paperback books, I am totally going to store them in pretty baskets now 🙂
