I am taking a break from the usual Friday Eye Candy today because I stumbled upon something pretty cool today. I was at my local hardware store today and happened through the lighting department. I saw something very similar to this beautiful light. 
Troy Pendant – Sausolito 
from my house tour I get asked about this light so often. It was definitely a spurge but one that I have never regretted. I truly love this light. If you are looking for a similar feel but are hoping to spend less, I think this may be an option! I couldn’t believe it when I saw it. 
pendant source While it’s not exactly like the Sausolito, it has crazy potential. You could of course roll with the oil rubbed bronze look or bust out some rub n’ buff to make it a major look a like! I love this idea. Anyone up for trying it? If you have had your eye on this light but don’t want to pull the trigger, this may be a fun option. 
If you haven’t used this, it’s amazing. You literally use your finger to rub on an antique gold finish. It works wonders. So for very little money and elbow grease you could transform this look alike pendant into something pretty darn amazing. If anyone takes on this fun project, let me know! I would love to see the results!
I have had my eye on the Sausolito pendant for so long and I wanted two of the smaller 13'' pendants to go over my new kitchen counter/bar. I may have to do this if I can find this other look a like pendant. Thanks so much for sharing!

I have always admired your pendant Courtney! It is gorgeous. I'm up for trying the option pendant! Love Rub 'n Buff and have a good supply on hand. I have the same pendant in the semi-flush version. Love it but it was definitely a splurge. Love your bargain option….and I'm obsessed with Rub n' Buff!!
