Good morning. Today I am so happy to share with you a table that my daughter and I created to honor my dear mom. My daughter is a part of a teen philanthropic group. The girls volunteer in our local community. The annual fashion show helps raise money for these services and we designed one of the tables for the event.
My mom was always so creative and would be in charge of the centerpieces for similar events. Using her pink and white toile dishes as our inspiration, we ran with the rosé all day theme. Anyone that knows her knows pink to be her favorite color.
PRETTY IN PINK
Did you know you can order party signs and decor from Minted? Whether you are planning a birthday, baby shower, mother’s day, kids’ bash. . .you name it. You can personalize it to say anything you want and in one million different designs. The hard part is choosing. They are all so beautiful.
TREATS
The pretty glass jars are from HomeGoods. Filling them with macarons in the same color scheme adds another layer to the table. The only issue was trying to prevent my daughter from eating them. They are her favorite.
NAPKIN TRICK
I chose to alternate the napkins and here is why. If you are buying 12 of something it’s rare that you entertain more than once or twice with that many. So why not have two different sets? I will use six more often and now I have two colors to choose from.
LOCAL RESOURCES
I have a cake trick. Check your local grocery store. Chances are the bakery can make you a naked cake for around $9. If you ask for it naked, it will be lightly brushed with icing. Add some faux flowers and you take it to the next level.
The gold chargers are from Michaels. The gold flatware and napkins are both from World Market. I used pretty lace ribbon to wrap around each napkin. I secured it with scalloped stickers from Minted (they came with the party suite).
The table cloth is just a nice heavy weight, textured fabric from Hobby Lobby. That is my favorite trick to picking out just the right look for a table.
The Rosé all Day banner turned out so cute. I hung that from the window but for the event I had it laying on the table.
BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS
These beautiful flowers were arranged by Posey Pop. I have worked with Marianne in the past. You might remember she created the flowers for this pretty shoot. She is a master at her craft. I truly believe that. Worth every penny for a special occasion.
The fashion show event was a special day for my daughter and me. I loved having her be a part of something grammy loved doing for so many years.
Cheers to you, mama. We love you.
