Happy Halloween! I am still in shock that the holidays have officially kicked off. How is this year coming to an end already? We will be carving pumpkins this morning and then getting our crockpot chili started. I mentioned on Instagram that it would be fun to share recipes so I will do some thinking and figure out how to do that. I am committed to slowing down (hence the slow cooker . . . ha!) and enjoying these next two months fully and completely. Meal planning and cooking ahead of time are part of that plan. Turning to fashion, I am showing you another way to wear faux fur. Recently I showed you how sweet it can look with a pretty fall dress. Today it’s all about a casual white tee and denim.
I like keeping outfits with a faux fur vest simple. Add too much and suddenly it looks a little bit too bulky and overwhelming. I have had this tee for years. Always great to have a white tee as a wardrobe staple and if you can find one that has a nice length sleeve it will serve you well in all seasons. And wedge boots are super super comfortable to wear. If wedge boots are not your thing, a flat tall boot or bootie would also look great with this look.

Do you remember this polka dot sweatshirt? It’s back in stock in a few sized and for 40% off. I’ve worn it a ton and lately have been wearing it around my waist with some of my fall dresses to add a little more pattern. I bought a large because I wanted that slouchy look with this one.

And a quick beauty update. I mentioned this eyeliner before (recommeneded by my dear friend, Jessica). Been wearing it non-stop and can’t believe I didn’t know about this sooner. Highly recommend. It stays on all day and that is so key. It’s a $20 very well spent and great for the holiday season.

What color would you recommend in the eyeliner?
I can’t believe that it is Nov 1st today! This year has really flown by. Hope your kids had a Happy Halloween. That fur vest is so cute on you and I think I need to pick up that eyeliner. The one I use now seems to wear off quickly and I’m having to touch up a couple times during the day. Love the red blouse for the holidays!!
