Saturday Shopping

Good morning. The rain is coming down so it’s really nice to pour a hot cup of coffee and do a little bit of Saturday Shopping with you. I’ve been on an organization kick so I may have to continue that today. It feels good to get around to some projects I’ve been putting off for far too long. This week’s edition is packed with things we personally love. I hope it’s helpful.

LATEST LOVE

Sorry about the blurry photo. I think my camera needs to be taken into the shop. But this blazer, girls!! I am in love with it. It’s absolutely adorable. The striped hoodie is detachable so you can have this casual look, or dress up the blazer without it. It’s ideal for travel because you get two looks in one. Hands down, one of my favorite purchases in a long time. It runs true to size.

These sunglasses are really pretty if you are in need of a new pair.

I’ve been into the store twice recently and this sweatshirt caught my eye both times. There is just something about the color combination. So good.

SOCIAL THREADS

Social Threads has so many cute pieces right now. This striped sweater is calling my name. The handbag is also really cute.

ANTHROPLOGIE

Do you remember this striped dress. It arrived and I am obsessed with it. The ruching on the sides and the cut are just so cute. It feels great on, easy to wear and is really fun. For reference I am wearing a small and am 5’7″.

This has such a feminine and soft look. Really pretty dress.

And this beautiful dress has me wanting to book a vacation immediately. The back is gorgeous.

Fan favorite and mine. These pants are so good, my friend. So many colors but the black is so versatile.

Do any of you have these? They are such a throwback and I love them. I like the classic look and a little bit of a heel. I really like how they would look with the Colette pants above.

AMAZON DRESSES

If you are shopping for Spring break, these two dresses are tired and true. I have this one in three colors. Love it that much. And for $30 it’s a huge win.

This is another great one. I am always asked where it is from. Nice and long and so easy to wear.

AMAZON LATELY

This little light of mine. I love it!! It’s cordless so you can place it anywhere. When our power when out and I put a solar light in my closet I realized how much I like having a dim light at night (so much more relaxing). This is great for something like this. I would also love to have two on our table for a dinner party instead of the overhead lighting. These rechargeable lamps are definitely designed to be soft, mood lighting. They do not replace a bright table lamp. Such a calm, pretty glow.

This dresser transformed my closet. Still so happy we bought it (and bought the 4 drawer version for our guest room).

I also like having this lamp in here. It’s nice to have a little bit of light on in this room when we entertain or when I sit down to play without always turning on the bright can lights. Even my husband commented that it looks high end.

I shared this pump again on stories and it was a big hit. This is my secret weapon for decorating for any event. Add some balloons on the floor or a table and it instantly looks festive. I also love to make a balloon garland (easier than you would think). This balloon pump is currently on sale and of our best purchases.

These zippered bags are also high on my list lately. To be honest, when I first bough them, I wasn’t that impressed and tossed them in a drawer. But lately I find myself grabbing them to organize random things. Just the other day I used two in a closet for extra battery operated lights and ribbon. I also used them when I flew to PA a couple of weeks ago. I also just put one in my car with random things you may need (bandaids, tissues, etc). You can also use this little label maker with them.

The other day, my husband found me in the garage breaking down boxes. He almost fainted. It’s a job I despise and mainly because old school box cutters scare me. I am afraid I’ll cut myself and the whole thing is such a chore. I am very guilty of tossing boxes into our garage and walking away (we accumulate quite a few with my job and take them to the recycle center). I finally ordered this box cutter and it’s a DREAM. Now I am breaking down the box as soon as it comes . . . so much more efficient. This is a nice tool to have on hand. So easy and safe to use.

The other day I was doing the Uber shuffle where I pick up my son from one thing and drive him to another. I made him a smoothie for the car ride. We use these glasses all the time. Great purchase and happy we have them. Currently $13 for 4.

Have you seen these? I have heard nothing but rave reviews so I ordered a set. Smaller in size but very absorbent and washable. Yes, please.

I am a sucker for all things William Morris and these are so beautiful. Really outstanding reviews. Could be a fun gift, too.

Ya’ll, why didn’t we think of this? What?! Genius. As soon as I saw it I ordered it. It’s so genius. The washable dust cloths can fold to make that lip which makes it ideal for cleaning baseboards or millwork and no bending over. Sold! We don’t have anyone that helps clean our home so I am all about investing in things to make it easer.

NEW RUG COLLECTION

Have you seen the new Chris Loves Julia collection of rugs? It’s good!!! I love this neutral design. It comes in a few colors. We have had this one in our music room and it’s one of my favorites of all time.

GETTING ORGANIZED

This was taken from our former home, but I just shared a closet I organized and had many of you ask about it. We left this for the new homeowners but liked it so much we bought one here. It can permanently attach to the door or you can just clamp it like we do. It’s currently on sale for a great price. It has been a great addition in two home for us.
