Good morning. I am writing outside today and I just looked over to see a fawn sleeping in our lawn. So sweet. I hope you all had a great week. Ours was packed so it’s nice to simmer down for a couple of days and get a few things done around the house. We also plan to be outside much of the weekend enjoying really pretty weather. Saturday Shopping is a good one so let’s get to it. Thanks for joining me.
WEARING LATELY
This outfit has been on repeat as of late. I love the linen pants. I am 5’7″ and wearing the small. They look great with flats, too. The bodysuit is a fun Amazon find. I don’t snap the bottom on bodysuits or I cut them right off. This one does not roll up at all. It fits more like a standard top. This is the small. A word of caution. . . it goes on a bit snug but fits great once you have it on. My go-to summer sandals look great with everything. Comfortable and under $25.
I went in to Target for toiletries and came out with a dress. Actually one for my daughter, too. Target is doing well with style these days. This off-white denim dress is so darn cute. In fact, I wore it out last night for date night with these heels. Definitely size down one. This is the XS and I am usually a small. It’s $35 and looks like an expensive Madewell dress to me.
My daughter has been wanting a striped dress like this. I bought the navy and white striped one ($20) but it comes in other colors, too.
POOL OR BEACH
Look who I bumbed into?! So fun to see Ashley. I immediately ordered her cute outfit (top | bottom). It’s a prettier mint green in person compared to what you see on the website. My coverup is so soft and comfortable. It’s a five star Amazon find in my book. I am wearing the small. Also loving these sunglasses and have been wearing them daily. Oversized but nice and lightweight.
ANTHRO
This romantic dress comes in three different prints. So lovely.
A huge yes to the Collette short. I LOVE the pants (have three of them) so the shorts are a no brainer.
This color! I loved the blue and white version of this dress so it’s fun to see it in this pretty mint.
This adorable sweatshirt was a gift my daughter and she wears it all the time (and always receives compliments). It’s splurge but great quality and these are the sweatshirts she wears over and over.
She looked high and low for red boots that didn’t cost a fortune. Took a chance on these from Amazon and she loves. The heel is a bit funky with the color but they are really cute on and she was able to wear them for hours at CMA fest. Just thought I would pass along.
If you are looking to invest in a pair, these are our favorite. We had to size down a full size. And they are wonderful about returning/resizing until you get it right.
BEST SELLER
This was last week’s best seller and I am not surprised. Such a great dress. Love the back detail.
These were also popular items last week. The linen blazer is a no brainer. It’s under $40 and a nice wardrobe staple for the summer. It also comes in Kelly green and black. It’s true to size (I am in a small). The crossbody is such a good size. I really like the outside pocket for my phone.
The stipe sweater tank is cute with our without the blazer and has a pretty detail on the shoulder. It’s $20 and a classic piece.
ON REPEAT
Looking for an inexpensive summer sandal? These are really good. Comfortable from the first time you wear them and true to size. I am so happy I took a chance on these. When we went on our beach trip, they were the only heels I took with me.

This is one of my favorite Amazon tops. Adorable and comes in so many colors.
This is the other t-shirt I highly recommend. So soft and the feminine puff sleeve is so good. Looks great with anything.
We were in Florida and out to dinner when I saw a woman wearing this. It looked SO HIGH end. She walked past me and I told her how daring it was and if she could tell me where it was from (fully expecting it to be a high end boutique). When she said Amazon I couldn’t believe it. She was so sweet to come back and share the info with me. Her friend had just bought it for a trip to Italy. It’s sooooo good in person.
FOR THE NEUTRAL LOVERS
Most comfortable ever. In fact this is the only brand my husband wears. These sneakers are on my birthday wish list. Love the neutral colorway.
This really pretty wallet bag is on sale. It was $349 but is now $229.
HOME FINDS
Anyone with drapery panels should have this. It’s the best kept secret. It’s called glide tape and you add it to the top of your rod. The rings literally glide like butter and they won’t get caught on any of the lips or areas where the rod joins another piece. It’s genius and life changing.
RUG SALE
We recently bought this rug and LOVE it. But I am super sad I missed the friends and family sale. You can grab a 9 x 12 for under $400 right now! That’s so good.
We adore this outdoor rug. In fact I am working from this spot right now. It looks like the day we bought it. Now a part of the friends and family sale.

SMART FOR SUMMER
This condiment server is so smart. I actually plan to use mine for fresh fruits. I love serving sparkling water and having fresh fruits and cucumber on ice is perfect. But this is great for hamburger/hot dog toppings, too.
This is ideal for appetizers. It would be great for charcuterie when you want to host outside.
This is so smart!!! I love that it’s a cooler but a cute piece of furniture, too. So clever. I’m all about double duty when it comes to thing like this.
OUTDOOR FURNITURE
These chairs look like the high end version and are so comfortable. I like them paired with a nice high table like this. The set is under $1000.

If I had a spot for these chairs I would buy them in a heartbeat. Just so good and the price is under $400 for two!!!!
DORM ROOM PREP
My daughter and her soon to be roommate have been planning for dorm life. They will be in a teeny tiny room but will focus on making their beds cute! We bought these duvet covers and will likely hit up Target or HomeGoods for a couple of coordinating pillows. I will order a duvet insert from Amazon. We are looking for a good mattress topper. If you have used one that you love, can you please let me know in the comments. I hear that is pretty key once you have covered the existing mattress.
Today we are hanging some privacy/sun shades in our backyard. I can’t wait to show you all. Wish us luck with installation. You know how these things can go.

I have two oversized down-alternative, box quilted, white duvet fillers from Target that are fantastic. They fill up my duvet covers without empty space like others I have had. They are a Target brand, washable and terrific. Not for super cold weather (I live in Palm Springs) but the size and fill are amazing. I bought them maybe two to three years ago. Good luck!
Congrats to your daughter on her graduation ! This is such a fun time, planning the dorm room! My daughter just finished her freshman year of college a couple weeks ago and we bought her a mattress topper from Amazon. There are so many options and we went with this mid-range one. She was happy with it and said it made her bed comfy and will be using it again next year. This is the name of it: ViscoSoft 3 Inch Memory Foam Mattress Topper Twin XL – Select High Density Ventilated Extra Long Mattress Pad – Premium Removable Rayon Cover. Be sure to get Twin XL sheets that have a. fitted sheet that’s extra deep so it doesn’t slip off!
The condiment server looks good. I am trying not to use plastic though because it’s so toxic for food. I was shocked when I learned how much micro plastic we swallow every day. It’s supposed to cause cancer. I use real dishes instead or glass containers.
I was hoping you would start to share some dorm room finds! My son is a freshman this fall too, and boy decorating/preparing is very different, I think 🙂 But there are some must haves and I love seeing what others are doing.
