How is it Saturday already? The weather is heating up here so I am writing this from inside today. I usually love working from our deck but the temps are a bit too toasty for me. I hope you had a productive and great week. I sent out a newsletter this week that resonated with quite a few of you and I just want to personally thank you for your messages. It means so much to me when you share your story and open up. On a lighter note, let’s jump into Saturday Shopping, shall we?
DATE NIGHT LOOK
This is what I wore for a date night this week. Hands down my favorite jeans. While it sure is hot outside, most places crank up the AC so jeans still work. I am 5’7″ and wearing size 26. They run long and I wear mine with heels. The sleeveless top has been a great addition to my wardrobe. I also wore these jeans with this Walmart top and had lots of compliments on the outfit.
The straw bag is so darn cute. I did think it arrived with a funky smell so I had it sit on our deck for a bit. But I love carrying it and have had multiple people as me where I bought it. It looks high end and is a fun Amazon find.
The sunglasses are the only ones I reach for lately. Really cute and very lightweight.

This fun dress is marked down to $119 but with an extra 50% off. Such a pretty color.
This subtle pinstripe was $98 and is now $40. Classic piece to add to the wardrobe.
If you have been here a while you know I love Anthro because their pieces have a unique quality and I am willing to spend more if it’s something that stands out or has something special about it. This is one of those pieces. What a beautiful top.

Wedding to attend? I thought this dress would be so pretty as a wedding guest.
Veronica Beard is one of my favorite designers. Adore this dress. I’ll try to find a less expensive option for us. My mom had a dress like this and I can still picture her in it. Classic.
The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is coming up. I have always loved the way Paige jeans fit and these will be cute for fall. You can favorite them now.

Riley and I are obsessed with this two piece outfit. It comes in a few colors.

SUMMER SHOES
So good. There is just something about this sandal.
Still loving these Target sandals. Incredibly soft and they go with everything.
These are the sandals I stole from my daughter. I need to buy my own pair because she will be taking them with her to school. I can’t get over how comfortable they are. They come in a handful of colors and are only $20.
Always a good choice. Neutral, not too bulky and they go with everything.

COLLEGE PREP
Yesterday I shared where we are with dorm room prep. It’s safe to say the boxes are rolling in but we are trying to be as organized as possible. And trying to keep it fun and light around here because this time is packed with emotions.
This has been the best seller this week. It came highly recommended to us.
It’s crazy hot here today so my son and I are off to a museum. Thought it would be a fun way to spend the day together. And then out to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Thankful for the weekend and quality time with our people.

Love those Target sandals! A couple of dorm essentials that we found helpful were command hooks in different sizes, including ones to hang posters (apparently posters are popular again!), extra batteries for anything that needs them and a OTC med box with all the essentials – dorm plague is no joke! Also, setting up our son on our Uber account for freshman year when he didn’t have his car with him was key. The busses are all free for the kids in SLO but stop running on the early side and I didn’t want him walking back to campus late by himself.
