Good morning! We have blue skies and sunshine so it’s lovely to be working from outside this morning. RILEY’S PICK OF THE WEEK

A few of you have been asking about Riley’s favorites. I am hoping to share some rush outfits soon. But she has been head over heels for this two piece outfit. Super comfortable and she loves it. She plans to take this to school with her. It comes in six different colors. She is in the XS.

This throw is the best! It makes any bed look luxurious but for a great price. We used this throw in our beach rental, too. They are now marked down to $42 so a great time to buy. The full/queen (shown here on a queen bed) is plenty big for the foot of a king bed, too. I’ve only purchased that size.

ARRIVED AND LOVE

Even cuter than I thought it would be. Darling alone or under a blazer. I ordered the small and love it. It’s so cute with wide leg jeans or pants.

This striped cardigan is darling over the shoulders (over the strapless top) or worn like this. I have the extra small and it is currently on sale. Very soft and cute. Looks much higher end in person.

HUGE RUG SALE

So many great rugs are on sale. We used this one in our townhome by the beach and love it. It’s so pretty in person. Very neutral without being too brown. It’s already on sale but with code FIREWORKS it’s an extra 25% off!

DORM DECOR

Recently I shared a post about getting ready for dorm life. I stuck to the basics but a few of you have been curious about more of the decor pieces. We ordered this rug for the girls’ room. A good price and will cover most of the their floor (tiny room). It will be really pretty with their white bedding.

These lamps arrived (very well packaged) and we are super happy with them.

Quick update. This shower caddy arrived and Riley loves it. She really likes that it has the long strap to wear over her shoulder and she loves the color. The mesh means no plastic bin bringing water back into the dorm room.

THINGS WE HAVE AND LOVE

I use these daily! We have had this handheld vacuum for a couple of years now and love it. If it ever stops working, just clean the parts (takes two minutes). I use this around the perimeter of our kitchen (under the cabinets) all the time. When I want to do a quick kitchen clean up (and things are put away) I vacuum under the cabinets and clean the counters with the Swedish cloths. They are so gentle and do a wonderful job. Plus they dry quickly and don’t hold onto bacteria like sponges. Can’t recommend enough.

NESTING BOWLS ON SALE

I probably sound like a broken record with these but everyone needs this set. They should be on every wedding registry. No exaggeration, we use them multiple times a day. Either to prepare food or store it. The large one makes an incredible bowl for tossing big salads. They are just so darn good. They nest so not difficult to store. Pro tip: when you put the lid on, press in the center first. . . then the edges. Works so well to get rid of the extra air. And right now you can apply a $6 off coupon.

We keep ours in a drawer along with baking supplies. The magnetic spoons are another five star buy. In fact, I just bought a second set. I also love to gift them with a small cutting and tea towel.

NEW IN THE BACKYARD

I can’t believe it took us three years to install these outdoor shades. Piece of cake to install and great prices for custom shades. You can order them so they are see through (maintain view but protect from weather and sun) or go 1% opacity (what we have) for privacy. We can’t say enough great things about them. MY SKIN IS LOVING

I ordered Oliveda a few weeks ago and so far I am LOVING it. (I was using Beauty Counter but its no longer a company). I have dear friends who have been raving about Oliveda so I jumped on board. It’s free of all toxins and chemicals and that is something that is really important to me. We have tried to clean up our household products (we use Truly Free and love) and it’s important my skincare is clean, too. Plus they are made without water. Did you know most expensive skincare products are mostly water? I had no idea. What I am using right now:

• antiaging face cream
• F59 Corrective Face Serum – everyone calls this Botox in a Bottle
• F06 Cellactive Serum Face – this has been huge for my redness and overall plumpness in my skin. I LOVE this.

I have been using these products and am so happy with them. My skin looks and feels nourished which has been a challenge as I am aging. Wait until you read the reviews on them. You’ll see why so many people love it.
