Good morning! While are enjoying the last weeks of summer, we are also trying to get organized. Ours on heads back to school in just three weeks. Not sure that is sitting too well with him right now. When do your kids head back? This morning I am enjoying a hot cup of coffee and sitting outside. So let’s get this edition of Saturday Shopping started.
NORDSTROM SALE
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is going strong. While I have shopped it every year for as long as I can remember, I’ve definitely paired down with pieces I think are worth it. I did a full post here (all of my choices) with things that are tried and true or classic wardrobe additions.

TOP PICK
Unfortunately, quite a bit sold out before I could shop but I did buy two more bras (the only one I wear). My bestie told me about these years back and I have never looked back. Great price right now ($32 instead of $49).
This is another no brainer buy for me. I love these products so much. The body butter is a dream. This is a fun set to give a bestie, too. Usually $98 but now $58.
Obviously a major splurge item but can’t say enough about the Michele watch. I’ve worn my for over ten years now and love it. I wear it every day. This one is included in the Anniversary sale.
This handbag is really beautiful. It will go with everything and can be worn crossbody or with the handle.
This bag is so cute. It’s sporty but glam. And the color is really great for fall.
My daughter came downstairs in these pajamas this morning. So soft and a great pair of pajamas. These make for a really lovely gift, too.
Once Fall and Winter hit, I live in my Chelsea boots. These are now $129 instead of $185. Perfect reviews.
We adore these throw blankets. We use them every single day (have for years). They wash and dry beautifully and stay soft. We love them so much we bought three for the rental beach house, too. During the sale they are $29 instead of $45. Wishing I had gotten that price for the rental.

Girls! This is a five star Amazon buy. I ordered the XS and love the fit. It’s so incredibly soft and looks high end. It really does look like the J.Crew version but for a fraction of the price and now it’s 33% off.
This tank gets a five star review from my daughter! We bought a couple for going off to school.
This two piece outfit is her number one pick lately. She LOVES it.
This is the floral makeup bag we ordered for Riley. She plans to have it sit on her desk/vanity. She is a minimalist with makeup so this will work really well.
TARGET CIRCLE SALE
Target Circle has some wonderful deals going on. These chairs are really pretty and now under $300.
I just realized the long pillow we used on this bed is on sale for $21! It looks high end in person and adds so much texture. What a great price. The best selling throw blanket is also part of the circle sale.
We used this trash can in the beach home powder room. It’s now on sale for $14.
Such a great console table! I love this so much. And it’s now $175.
EARLY AMAZON PRIME
This is so random but when I saw these magnetic tiles on sale I had to post about them. We kept ours and can’t tell you the hours of fun these brought. They are so great to have on hand if you have young ones or young ones visiting. Truly the best. Even my mom enjoyed using them as the was down the Alzheimer’s path. Can’t recommend enough and a great sale price. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

WAYFAIR
I can not believe the price on these (set of 2). Love these so much. Our counter stools are sold out, but these have such a similar feel with the dark legs and light upholstered seats. So good.
DORM ROOM UPDATE
This rug is so pretty in person. A bit of a lighter blue and really warm background. LOVE! I almost ordered this for the dorm room but wanted to pay less because we know it will most likely get ruined. If I were buying for my own home, I wouldn’t hesitate on this one.
This is the one we chose for Riley and her roommate. Very pretty and a great price. We ordered these ottomans for each of them. They will need them as stepping stools to get on to their raised bed.
A few of you were asking about bedskirts. We went with this one. I love the tailored ones but they can be harder to keep straight when the girls are going under the bed for storage. These are the drawers we are using under the bed.
And be sure to order storage/packings bags before they sell out. We will be moving most of Riley’s things (including clothes on hangers) in these. She can use one under the bed for storing random stuff if need be.
If you need a comforter insert, we love this one. It has 121K great reviews and is $40! We used this for our twin beds in our basement guest room, too.
BARREL JEAN TREND
If you have wanted to hop on the barrel jean trend without going crazy, I highly recommend these. So darn cute and a subtle barrel. Go down one size. A splurge but a great brand and fit.
THRIVE SALE
We have been using Thrive for quite some time. We order most of our snacks and packaged food from them (including great spices and electrolytes that I drink every day). No better prices and comes right to my door. So many things we buy are on sale. Siete chips for $2.99! If you buy that brand, you know that’s FANTASTIC. If you want to hop on board, your first order will be 40% off. It’s my favorite when my daughter says, “Mom, has the Thrive order come yet?” (she drink the electrolytes daily as well). If you have any questions, let me know. It’s nice because when we head to the store or farmer’s market we really only focus on protein, sour dough and produce.

The I kea shoe trays fit perfectly in the bags and keep them sturdy for moving and are awesome to throw under a bed or in a closet for wet/dirty shoes. We put them in two bags and now heading into third year my son is still using them.
We got that bed skirt for our daughter and she used it two years (will be in an off campus apartment with a larger bed this year). So great to hide clutter and make the room look more polished! The one piece of advice I would give is that the ties are a bit flimsy and most of ours tore off. The easy fix is to use large safety pins to attach it to the bedframe.
