What are you up to on this fine day? If you check in with A Thoughtful Place on Instagram, you may have seen a sneak peek of this dress. I am head over heels for it. I am not sure if it’s the smocking on it or the pretty Fall print, but it just makes me happy to wear it. As we venture into Fall with temps still warm it’s nice to have a Fall piece that can be worn with booties but doesn’t look like you are dressed for winter.

Isn’t it fun?! I must admit, though, my sweet sister was shopping with me when I scooped this up and she was all kinds of doubtful. I saw it in her eyes! It’s one of those pieces that looks pretty bad on a hanger. But I knew this baby had potential. It’s even comfy which takes it to a whole new level. And if you’re curious about sizing, I am wearing a 4. And by the way, I dropped my first pair of sunglasses and scratched them but I bought another pair because I love these so much. And at $12 you can’t really go wrong.

The smocking reminds me of the dresses I wore when I was young. It’s like the grown up version. This ring is a fun and inexpensive piece. I like how dainty it is.

These booties continue to be my favorite Fall shoe. I wear them with so many different outfits. I really like this putty suede color because it goes with everything. I went down 1/2 size in these as I do not wear them with socks. Tip: Sprinkle a generous amount of powder in your booties before wearing. Keeps my feet dry all day long!
