We can’t stop talking about the wedding we went to last night. It was magical and so special to see people we care about so much dedicate their lives to each other. Wishing them so much love as they embark on life’s adventures together. I get so weepy at weddings. Do you? Then again I cry at commercials so there’s that. Speaking of water works, today’s Saturday Shopping is an ode to the rain we are so desperately needing. I use any excuse to whip out my black rain boots. My husband gave them to me for Christmas years ago and they are definitely a classic wardrobe edition. This week I am pairing them with white and buffalo check.
I just recently found this chambray top and love it. It’s such a pretty color and has a nice preppy cut. It looks good with everything from jean cut off shorts to dark wide legged denim. It’s a good one, my friends. And very soft. I also like that I can wear it tucked in or out.
My sweet friend Jenny from Gray Monore has the cutest finds. I am crazy about buffalo check and all things black and white so this vest was a wardrobe must. If you hop over to her site and it’s sold out, not to worry, she told me more will come in this week!

I have never subscribed to no white after Labor Day. In fact I think most fashion rules are silly. I will wear white year round. Winter white is actually my favorite and looks so fresh paired with black and pale blue.
I love these boots but I also know the price tag is high for boots. I will say that the more narrow leg is better for me than some of the other versions available. Because of that, it was worth the splurge to have a boot that will last me forever. But boy are there darling options out there. How cute are these? They are just like the leather Steve Madden quilted boots I have. I rounded up a few for you below.

I am really excited about my plaid fall bag from Barrington Gifts. I am a sucker for the Savannah bag. It has a zipper and so many pockets inside. You can choose any background design you want and add a monogram, too. No surprise I chose the plaid. My very first handbag my parents gave me back in the day was this exact plaid. Brings back such great memories. And I haven’t bought myself an umbrella for over six or seven years. I have been known to use my son’s old fireman umbrella in a pinch. No joke. So I bought this one in black and love it. I’ve always wanted one shaped like this where it really covers you and protects you from the rain.

I recently found this leopard wristlet and really like it. I like that even if I am shopping at Target or the grocery store, I can just have it hang from my wrist as I push the cart. And I even took it to the wedding. It’s a good dress it up or down option.
Shop This Look
And I mentioned this yesterday, but it’s worth repeating! My long, flowy dress has been price matched. 25% off! That’s huge. It’s a dress I plan to dress up and down.
Now we need to see about a football game! Go Irish. Enjoy your weekend.

Cute outfits! I love that you wear winter white in Fall and Winter! I agree, it is fresh and classic. I always wear my winter white skinnys with brown in Fall…
Love the “boot roundup”! So many cute styles to choose from. I still have my old high boots from Totes… like the more rounded toes on the styles you feature!
happy weekend!

Courtney,
Glad you had fun at the wedding. You sound exactly like me. I cry at weddings, commercials and especially the graduation song. I love your Hunter boots. I literally wore mine for a week straight. We were pounded by so much rain on the east coast a couple weeks ago. I wore them so many different ways, it was great!!! Love your light chambray shirt BTW.
