Saturday Shopping | Casual Chic

I wasn’t the best blogger this week. It was a crazy, hectic week. Nothing over the top. Just life and the mommy thing which seems to entail more and more taxi driving. I am thrilled that it’s Saturday.  Each of the babes have soccer games and then we have plans with some dear friends of ours. Should be a nice way to spend the day. Sharing a little casual outfit today that could easily go from day to night. And it’s definitely a look towards Spring. I can’t wait. I am a big fan of the black and white combo. I also think that a great graphic tee is so cute during the day and super chic for night. scarf | heels | similar tee | similar pants | clutch | watch | sunglasses So what makes this outfit work? It’s the clean combo of black and white, pattern and a touch of color. The leopard print is a great classic addition to any wardrobe. And I pretty much live in my white capris once the weather warms up. I would wear this for date night with the hubs as well as any girls’ night out or fun event. With flats, you can wear it absolutely anywhere. The fold over clutch is a favorite of mine. You can drop your big bulky wallet from your purse and head out the door. I like that in a clutch. This exact tee hasn’t hit the website yet, but I will let you know when it does. It just spoke to me! Ha. It’s my weekend uniform . . .jeans, t-shirt and top knot. But any black and white graphic tee will accomplish the same look. This one is adorable. But a good trick is to buy some longer ones {like these} and you simply cuff them. Then you can wear them long or short depending on what you are wearing. polka dot top | heels | lipstick | clutch | watch Here is another way I have worn the black and white + leopard combo. And many of you have asked. The red I wear is Mac Red. I have worn the above with my distressed jeans. I would also pair it with my white pants and denim jacket. Oh, and I tried on this dress! Soooooo cute. It comes in black, off white and pink. And the neckline is FANTASTIC! I would buy a small { I am a size 4}. I actually think it looks cute with the collar standing up. If you have any upcoming spring or summer weddings it would be ideal. I LOVE this dress. And you can’t beat the price. And this may seem random, but this hat is identical to the one I have and I wear it non stop in the summer. If you are at all in need of one, you may want to consider it before they are gone. I have an upcoming trip and you better believe it will be coming with me. The black band makes it so classic and chic {and it will go with any swimsuit or cover up}.
