I am not sure if I am excited it’s Saturday or nervous! It seems like the time before Christmas is flying by. We have yet to finish decorating and I am tempted to put the additional decorations back into the storage area. Less is more, right?! We did kick of the season with a great neighborhood event last night. The tree lighting ceremony is always so much fun. The highlight of the evening for my children is always decorating Christmas cookies. Let’s just say they don’t shy away from blue icing and gummy bears. Turning to fashion, I wore a festive outfit that is also super comfortable. red vest | boots | boot socks | striped tee $16 | leggings | sunglasses | bracelet This out fit is just easy and comfortable. I have had my Hunter boots for years { a gift from my husband a few years back}. They are classic and timeless. I’ve posted about this $16 tee before. This new colorway is just so pretty. It’s actually a pale pink with pinkish/redish stripes. The rose color looks great with red. I am wearing a small but my navy one is a medium. I wanted this one to be a bit more snug in the arms. That way I can easily put a sweater on over it. I am a huge fan of these tees because they dip low in front and in back. With leggings, that’s key! And those are my all time favorite leggings. No joke, I think I have worn them everyday this week. They are the ones with ruching on the sides and I always get compliments when I wear them. I have had my vest forever but the one below is too cute. Detachable hood, too. This outfit is also really cute if you swap out the striped tee with this plaid button down. I LOVE the plaid detail in the back. It’s so so cute and is a great winter addition. There is something about the lace that is feminine and pretty despite it being a plaid flannel shirt. And funny story for you. My girlfriends and I all hit up the Nordstrom party the other night. I am not feeing 100% so I just popped in for a bit, but we managed to all buy matching fleece wraps! Ha. We all picked different colors but the same wrap, nonetheless! Do you have one yet? I also spotted these at Nordies. Very clever. GREAT gift. These are only $12 and already in a cute box for gifting. Great to send or to hand deliver. The price is fantastic. And big boot news . . .these were priced matched at Nordstrom and the black ones are still in stock in many sizes. So I am still on the mend and will be taking it easy today. I really am going to put away the unused Christmas décor. I figure if we haven’t put it up by now, it can wait until next year. I love the wrap! We are having family pictures taken with my sister and her family as a gift for my parents, and we all are trying to wear red, grey or white. This wrap would be perfect in grey! Especially with those leggings. The vest is really cute too! We did our Christmas shopping last night. I had to remind myself I wasn't shopping for me even though I saw so many cute things.

So happy to hear you are on the mend!! Yay! That is the cutest outfit. Festive and cozy for sure. Darling plaid blouse with the lace detail. Decorating begins today at our house and we're going a bit more simple than years past. I cannot wait to get our tree up. Happy Saturday and weekend!

I've just entered your giveaway although I'm not sure I did things alright (sorry we don't have exactly the same thing here) but never mind. Have a good start of week, hope you're in good form again!
