Saturday Shopping: Keeping it Classic

Can I get an Amen for the weekend?! We had an eventful Friday. I took the kids to get milkshakes and on our way our car broke down. Needless to say there were no milkshakes but plenty of roadside games, reading, and races. Those kids are troopers. But I am thrilled it’s the weekend. We have family in town and plan to soak up the sun and hopefully hit the beach. I discovered the cutest black dress! It just hit the store and the website. It is a faux wrap dress and the front is sewn together so there are no worries about leaning over! I LOVE IT. It’s lightweight, has a black slip built in and is a great price point. dress | heels | hat | bag | necklace | bracelet | bracelet By the way. These are my favorite heels. They are not too high and are super comfortable. They come in nude as well. I have had them for over a year and really love them. The hat just hit the stores and should be online any minute. Only $20 and reminds me so much of the J Crew one. What I love is that the dress  is a bit longer in the back so you don’t feel like you are pushing it with the length. Fun and flirty and really so versatile. It will look so cute with a white blazer come fall.   I like that this is a modern take on a classic wrap dress. It can be dressed up with heels or super cute with wedges or sandals. And I love the Channel style of this bag. Great buy. And I don’t think that you always need a pop of color. The classic black and white combo with gold accessories is pretty and timeless.   Did I mention it also comes in pink! Darling.
