There is something about a long weekend, right?! It makes us all wish that weekends were always served up in three day doses. I hope you are spending your Memorial Day weekend with a good balance of fun and relaxation. Thinking of those who lost their lives serving our country, all those who do serve, and all of the families that sacrifice time with their loved ones for our freedom. And to my family members that do just that . . . a special shout out to Valerie and Jason and their beautiful family.

I could’t help but get a little bit of red, white and blue on you today. Just a small dose! I love this little red clutch. It can be worn cross body or held in the hand {also around the wrist which is my personal favorite}. And at $10 a pop you can’t go wrong.

I love a great gingham. In fact, my very first bedspread {after a crib} was pink and white gingham. The look never goes out of style and has such a fresh, preppy vibe. This shirt is now being sold in navy. Very cute. And here is a similar one in the royal blue color.

My kind husband gave me this purse for Mother’s Day. He has really great taste and I love the lines of it. It’s a really soft leather and the design is great. Makes for a nice, neutral handbag.  It comes in other colors, too. This green is very charming. But I found a much less expensive neutral bag here. It’s darling and the price is right! And this one gives you the two tone look of the one above but for less.

These are my go to white jeans but recently ordered these for a bit of an edgier look. I went one size down in these as they strike me as the type that will stretch quite a bit. And for a more casual look, I would definitely wear this outfit with these darling sandals or these Converse that are on sale.

I also noticed this cute gingham shirt is 40% off. Sizes are going quickly.  I am wearing a small and wear this all the time. Cute with white jeans and super comfy around the house with leggings.

And I’m not sure if you have little ones in the house or might need a birthday gift for a sweet one you know .  . . but heads up that so many Mini Boden styles are on sale. They are one of my favorite brands for kids. Very wholesome styles that don’t try to push the children into designs that are too old for them. Know what I mean. Just darling. Especially love that fruit cover up and the cute sweat shirts for cool beach nights.
