Let’s do this, Saturday! I’m ready for you. Although we are all a bit sad because it’s our son’s last baseball game of the season. We have been extraordinarily blessed with not only a great group of boys, but an amazing bunch of parents as well. And let’s be honest. We have all encountered the less than stellar group of parents that make sports way more competitive and ugly than they need to be. No thank you. We really try to keep things light around here and focus on having fun. My husband and I both firmly believe that sports are all about gathering skills and enjoyment. The more they are exposed to, the better they are later down the road. But super competitive drama we can’t handle. So very very thankful for our fantastic and encouraging coaches. My son now loves the game and that is priceless.
I mentioned that we had a fun photo shoot at the house and I thought it would be fun to show you the pink and white outfit that the stylist and I chose. I was so excited when he thought it was a good choice because it is some of my tried and true favorites. And items I wear all the time. For the shoot at the house I wore leopard flats but if I were to wear this for a girls night out or date night I would grab these heels.

These jeans are so comfy. They do stretch a bit so do not go up in size. Every time you wash them they are nice and snug again. I always like to pass those tips along in case you are wondering about fit. I am a size 2 or 4 in pants and bought a size 25 in these.

I have had this pink blouse forever. I LOVE it. It comes in many different colors and I always receive compliments on it. The color is very saturated and bright which pairs well with the white. For the photo shoot, the stylist thought it would be a nice pop of color. I wear a size small in this blouse.
If you are a heel wearing girl {and I know not all of us are} I can’t say enough about these. I mentioned before that I wanted this style and tried on so many that just felt awkward around my ankle. I also have a high arch which may change things but these are so so comfortable and are such a great price. Sizes are going quickly. {They are true to size}.
These all caught my eye this week, too. Click on any image above for details. And I caved and bought this dress in blue. I will show you very soon.
Did you catch my note yesterday about the J. Crew sale. I have to admit I rarely buy things full priced there and wait for great sales. They are offering an extra 30% of Spring sale items with the code SALETREAT and an extra 50% off final sale items. Really good deals if you have your eye on anything.

Oh I am just so excited for your photo shoot to come out in print! That pink blouse is just gorgeous on you with your blond hair! It’s a fun pink! I am tempted to order that blouse. Have a happy Saturday Courtney. I like your thinking on sports and couldn’t agree more. Happy Mother’s Day to you and your mom. I am a pet mom! I will be missing my mom tomorrow but I know that she is there in spirit. xo
