Happy Valentine’s Day, sweet friends! I hope those of you that are deep in the snow are keeping warm. Quite the cold front going on. My kids are seeing photos of snow and devastated that we don’t have any of the white stuff! Because we have some sun happening here, it’s easier for me to dish up some Spring Break style. A sweet reader on Instagram asked about what I would pack for Spring Break. Well, we happen to be traveling soon so this is a round up of some fun mix and match casual styles. I wear pieces like this over and over. I think the trick with packing for a Spring getaway is to be sure things mix and match. Stick to some neutrals {blacks, whites, tans} and add color with some fun accessories and wrinkle free tops. Anyone recognize this tote? I bought it last year and am so excited to pull it out again. It’s super lightweight and easy to carry. It now comes in a lot of different colorways. It even comes in a soft pink and white version. I also like the white/tan option. You can toss any scarf in your bag and let it hang out a bit. Not only do you have a scarf if you need it on the plane when traveling, you have added an extra print and splash of color to your outfit. one | two | three | four | five | six | seven | eight Pretty crazy about all of these pieces. None of them take up room when traveling and all of them add so much to an outfit. That mint bracelet is 40% off and so darn adorable. And this is the tote in gold. CUTE! These shoes are pretty much my go to with warmer temps. They go with EVERYTHING. green blouse | white jeans | sale jeans | shoes | tote | sunglasses | bracelet This blouse is on clearance and comes in a lot of different colors and prints. I LOVE IT. It is polyester so it does not wrinkle at all. I am pretty sure you could ball it up and it would still stay beautiful. That makes for a great travel top! I bought an XS. It definitely runs big. Keep that in mind if you want to snatch one up while they are on sale. The green reads a bit more emerald in real life. It’s a really beautiful color. striped tee | scarf | flats | hat | sunglasses | tote Black and white is another go to of mine when I travel. So easy to add a pop of color with a scarf or bag, but when you mix and match black and white it always reads classic. Great way to go when you need to make a few outfits go far. And that striped tee is so darn cute. Awesome reviews and it comes in a million solid colors as well. And just FYI, the scarf above looks more like spots than hearts in real life. I have the mint one. tee | clutch | heels | sunglasses | bracelet This was from just the other week where I added the heels to make the look a little more dressy. Flats would be just as cute with this. scarf | tank top | sunglasses | flats | tote | hat | prepster bracelet And I am a preppy girl at heart so there is always some prep in my suitcase. Have you seen the bracelet above?! I literally stopped in the jewelry area at Nordstrom because it is so darn cute. It comes in three different color ways and is all you need to add a little color. I also bought the tank above {$18} and love it. It is a great look and will be a staple under my navy blazer, too. A white tank is always a good call for a warm weather vacation. Even if it gets chilly, you can add a simple cardigan or a cute scarf. So that’s a wrap on Spring Break Style Part 1. I hope you see that it’s about neutral basics with color inserted here and there. And a great pair of neutral flats make life much easier. I am now off to spend the day with my family. We opted against the traditional date night out and are looking forward to a cozy dinner for four this evening. My hubby and son are in charge! I think I like it that way. Happy Valentine’s Day to all of you. xoxo Shop the post and other fun sale finds below.

The green top is darling on you. Such a cute fresh outfit for spring! Great post! As much as I love to bundle up in sweaters and boots I think I am ready to switch gears to spring clothing. I ordered those little leopard flats this week. Happy Valentine's Day!

Scarves are a Perfect way to dress up anything….
I usually do not gravitate to tshirts with sayings on them but that one is too cute.

I bought the mint scarf and I really like it, but when I actually go to wear it, I think it looks messy with the fringe, since I can't fold it just right to make the fringe look purposeful or neat— did you have that problem? thanks so much!
