Spring Gift Idea

April 5, 2012 by Courtney 12 Comments

I don’t know about you, but there always seems to be a fun reason to pass along a little gift to someone. The other day good friends of mine and our children gathered for an annual Easter party. Kim, the hostess, always creates such a fun afternoon for the kiddos {and us}. The little ones always come home with plenty of goodies so I thought it would be fun to hand the mommies just a little something. I am sharing in case you want to do something similar to have on hand for little gifts. 2012-04-04 I picked up these journals from Michael’s. They were under $2.00 each! You can’t beat that. I fell in love with their spring patterns. Then I used Microsoft Publisher to create a text box. I added their initial and a border. Once they are printed, trim and adhere to the journal with the puffy little sticky things {very technical, I know} that you can also pick up from Michaels. They are they same sticky things I used for the paint chip heart art. IMG_8192 ……………………. happy spring IMG_8194 What about you? Any fun finds lately that make sweet gifts? And are you getting ready for Easter? I have a couple of works in progress to share with you tomorrow. We are keeping things simple, but I have gotten my hands dirty with one or two projects that I can share. Enjoy your day.

I have recently started making different facial treatments that have no toxins so I have been gifting them to my sisters and family. They love trying new product as much as I do so it has made them very excited.

This simplicity of this makes me say "Duh. Why hadn't I ever done that?" Cute and clever as always. 😉
