Style and Comfort

This week is flying by. I can’t believe it’s Thursday already. We are excited to see our son earn his next belt in TaeKwanDo tonight. He is so close to his black belt and we are so proud of him. I am so amazed by his dedication and determination. In fashion news, I found an awesome new pair of jeans that I wanted to share with you. As a woman, I really just want to feel my best and be comfortable. These jeans couldn’t be more comfy. And when you pair them with a long feminine blouse it’s an outfit that will be on repeat for sure. Here’s a little Style and Comfort for the week.

I am not sure why it took me so long to try these on. I own white jeans by Articles of Society and absolutely love them.  They are the ones I rave about all the time. Well, hello?! Why haven’t I tried these before. They feel so great on! They are incredibly soft and have an awesome amount of stretch. They are especially great for pairing with longer blouses and tops because they seem to fit almost like a legging. SO SO COMFY! Sold. And they are $59.  If you have the white ones and like the way they fit you will love these. For reference I am a 25. ( I am usually a 2/4 but when jeans are sized like this I am always a 25).

I actually saw this blouse on my way to meet a girlfriend for lunch. It caught my eye because it’s feminine and with a bit of a vintage vibe. I didn’t buy it and it was on my mind for a good two weeks so I finally took the plunge. And I am really happy I did. Even my husband is a big fan. I love it because it’s not only really pretty but it also hangs longer in back and is such a flattering cut. The added detail trim on it is also really sweet. For reference I am wearing an XS.

What you can see if you look closely is that  the rain was staring to come down in a major way. That’s what all of the spots are on the ground. It was snap and head inside type of thing!!!!

I have had this handbag for years but I found a very similar pale gray one with a bow here. I also found this white handbag for an awesome price. I find that I carry a white bag a lot during Spring and Summer. And while my exact ring is not available this one is similar and people comment on it all the time. And it’s more comfortable to wear than it looks.

I really love the vintage vibe of this peasant blouse. It also comes in a pretty tank top. My two gold necklaces have been worn daily. Both the initial one and the longer chain.

The white purse above is a splurge but I wanted to let you know it’s gorgeous and really well made. I have the ballet pink version (it was a gift) and it is one of my favorite purses of all time. It has maintained it’s pretty shape over the past couple of years and I love carrying it. Not gonna lie. Wish I had it in white because it would go with everything. While there are a ton of fancy purses out there, I don’t think enough people know about these hidden gems. But you can’t beat the under $40 price tag on this one.

 I just love the hem of this blouse. There is something about the cut where it falls so naturally and looks great untucked. And now can we talk about the barn door? I can’t get enough of this farmhouse style. If we were to ever leave California I told my husband we would need to go somewhere that offers enough land for him to build us a giant white barn with a gorgeous red door. Seems simple enough, right?! This California girl can dream.
