Sweater Weather | Fall Trends

There is nothing better than sweater weather because it marks the beginning of the holiday season. There is something so magical about these months. I am ready to trade in my flip flops and shorts for cozy and soft layers. I’ve teamed up with Banana Republic to share a couple of looks that will have you you Fall ready in no time.

COZY & CLASSIC

I am fairly certain I’ve found my Thanksgiving look. this outfit feels like pajamas and I love how soft this ivory sweater is. A midi skirt with a turtleneck sweater is a hot trend right now.

This midi skirt is the perfect length. It has enough stretch to it so it’s extremely comfortable. It’s been a while since a black handbag has caught my eye. This one is so versatile. You can carry it like a satchel, wear it as a crossbody or toss it over your shoulder.

This outfit would work well for the office, too. It’s a classic look that will never go out of style. The black pump is wardrobe essential if you don’t already have one. I sized down a 1/2 size in these pretty heels.

DATE NIGHT OUT

Bring on the colorblock trend. Do you have a few bold sweaters in your closet? I wore this out for date night just the other night and had so many compliments on the sweater. It’s just a fun and unexpected color combo. It sits right at the waist and is easily dressed up with these velvet jeans.

The velvet jeans will be my go-to this holiday season. They are true to size and super sexy. They look beautiful with the ivory sweater, too.

If you are locals, San Juan Capistrano is one of our very favorite places to spend an evening. So many great restaurants and wine bars. Plus there is a movie theater if you just want to snuggle up with you honey. I love that you can park the car once and then venture on foot everywhere you go.
