For a handful of days we’ve had cooler weather and even some rain. It’s been glorious. Any time I get to break out the Fall wardrobe I am a happy camper. This week I am switching it up for fall and introducing a couple of pieces I normally don’t wear. Thought you may like them, too.
MAKING A STATEMENT
I have always been drawn to really dainty jewelry pieces but this Fall I am trying something new. When the necklace arrived, I thought oh no way. This is way too big for me. And then I put it on! It totally transformed the outfit from being plain to pulled together. I absolutely love it. It’s pretty and fun to wear and definitely elevated this look.
FALL ACCESSORIES
Since the day I got my ears pierced back in 5th grade I have loved pearls. To me they are classic and never go out of style. This ring is a fun way to add an update pearl look to any outfit. It’s just fun and at only $15 it’s a fun accessory addition.

ON TREND
I mentioned before that Nordstrom Rack is a great spot for buying trendy pieces you may not wear forever. For me, these boots are a great buy. These are $70 and are very comfortable (just go down 1/2 size). For height reference, I am 5’7″. These have a tie in the back so you can loosen or tighten them depending on your build. I am wearing the color taupe.
COZY AND SOFT
So thankful it’s time to break out the cozy pieces. This sweater is a bit different for me as well. Usually I gravitate towards more fitted pieces but I really like how soft and pretty this turtleneck is. It drapes beautifully and comes in many different colors. For $29 you can’t go wrong. I am wearing a size small. This is very similar without the cowl neck. I also appreciate the price of Hudson Jeans with Nordstrom Rack. They fit me well and last for years and years.
Stylish Fall Sweaters
I also noticed the Joe Fresh event starting today over at Nordstrom Rack. They cutest children’s clothes!!!! If you have little ones or grandchildren, it’s worth checking out.
Totally off topic, but I finally tried a Pumpkin Spice Latte (which is what I am drinking in the photos). I can’t believe I am saying this but I love it. I may be hooked. I always drink my coffee black with a little dash of cinnamon and steer clear of fancy drinks. While I don’t think I will make these as staple, I do see why people get so excited about the drink coming back around during the cooler months. What about you? Are you a pumpkin spice type of gal?
Here’s to warm drinks and cool weather. Enjoy the day.

I love me a PSL however I do get it half sweet and it’s still plenty delicious. Believe it or not, the ones at McDonalds are good too (also skim milk and half sweet) but nothing beats Starbucks. Cheers to Fall !!
