I have been seeing a lot of the cute mod podge frames floating around blog land. I wanted to share a tea party we had for our four year old. I made a frame for each of the little girls that came to the party. I had asked that each mommy email me their favorite picture. I used scrapbook paper on each frame that I knew would coordinate in their bedrooms at home {$1.00 frames from Michael’s}. They not only served as the décor for the party, but they were also the party favor for each little princess to take home. My daughter has hers in her bedroom and it’s such a fun reminder of the girly girl party! {keepsake from the party in my daughter’s room} I think you could make some darling ones for the holiday season as well. A black and white damask or a cute chevron frame would be super cute for a Christmas Eve dinner or holiday party. Simple Directions: 1. Unfinished frame from Michael’s {$1.00} 2. One coat of paint { I use whatever I have around the house} 3. Attach scrapbook paper with mod podge {I made a stencil so all of my frames matched} 4. Attach any type of flower or decoration with glue gun. I bought these frames a year ago thinking I would make some cute frames for my nieces, and never did 🙁 This has inspired me to get on that project, I think I'll go get some paper today since it is suppose to be rainy the rest of the week. Thanks for sharing, and inspiring me to get off my butt!

That is such a cute party favor, Courtney! I love that you go the extra mile and ask for the moms' favorite photos and coordinate the frame to the girls' rooms. You are so thoughtful! Love the little sandwiches garnished with strawberries too – so girly!

Great idea!! I made something similar for christmas gifts several years ago…but I love your idea for a party. If you didn't have pics, you could print out names and use them as place cards too.
I know your little girl had a ball…and love the finger sandwiches!

Those are adorable! I need to keep that in mind as my girls are always needing to come up with a special gift for their friends. This would be a great craft for my older daughter's sorority!

Cutie cutie! Little girls and even moms love tea parties! And a tea party is not complete without floral stuff. Having floral frames around adds a feminine touch to this mini-tea party. I just love it!
