Thanksgiving Plate Your Style and $100 Giveaway

The holidays have arrived and I am a sucker for setting a festive table. There is something about hosting family or friends that just makes me happy. Growing up my mom always made things beautiful and entertained in style. We were also the type of family that sat around the dinner table for hours talking and laughing so for me, it just feels right. When Kirkland’s invited me to take part in Plate My Style I immediately jumped in as I knew it would be fun to shop for my fall tablescape. While I hit up the local store, they are a great online source for affordable décor items. My sweet kiddos helped me shop and this is what we came up with   falltable IMG_0164 IMG_0167   The gold chargers and gold tray are a nice addition to my entertaining collection. I also love the pearlized acorns that are in my rope vases. You can see how I made those here. I cut a few greens from the yard to add some color. IMG_0161 IMG_0169 My go to look lately is using a table cloth as a super wider runner. I like having just the edges of the table show. IMG_0172 These fun feather ornaments are a nice contrast to the sparkly mercury glass candle holders. I can’t wait to fill the candle holders with fun Christmas candy throughout the season as well. IMG_0176 IMG_0177 IMG_0178 The burlap acorns are actually ornaments but work so well as place card holders! IMG_0180 Thank you to Kirkland’s for adding some glam to our fall table! I am excited to entertain! IMG_0183 I am especially loving the candle holders because they will be beautiful all season long. And the darling acorns and feathers are actually ornaments so I can always transition them to the tree for Christmas. And now it is your turn! Let’s start shopping!!!!     I LOVE Kirklands!!! Love their candle holders and well….just about everything there! Everything definitely fits into my decor style.

    So pretty, Court. Brilliant idea using a tablecloth as a runner…I'm such a sucker for showing the wood, too. I think the burlap acorn ornaments are adorable, too. Beautiful, as always!
