So I think we are beginning to recover from the craziness of Christmas. Although, I have to say that the holiday was really wonderful. We had some set backs with some house issues {comes with the territory of owning a house, right!} So perhaps we had lowered our expectations so much, that our holiday was through the roof with fun and blissful chaos {as my dear friend likes to call it!}. The wrapping is thrown away, the cardboard boxes have been cut down, and the new toys are starting to make their way to their new home {most are still strewn about the house and trickling up the staircase}. I am really excited to see what 2011 brings and so very very thankful that we will be ringing in the new year with dear friends. We are so thankful for our health, relationships, blessings, and all that awaits. I will be lining up some “to do” lists for the new year and sharing with you some projects I hope to accomplish {I am hoping that by posting my to do list . . . I will be a little bit more obligated to follow through. So thank you ahead of time for the push!}. In the meantime, I wanted to share some fantastic New Year’s Eve inspiration. Count Down Toasting Glasses These are just darling. Nothing a paint pen couldn’t pull off or some vinyl cut outs {those of you who want to whip out your Silhouette could do this in a jiffy!} Festive Streamers Metallic Lined Tray I love this metallic paper lining the tray. Megan from Honey We’re Home has done something similar with her trays. Such an easy and impactful change up! {and do you know that she is giving a Silhouette SD away . . . what, what????!!! Go check it out} Parting Gifts for Guests And this is just pure genius. I plan to do this for the next party we throw. A little take home cookie slipped into a CD jacket. Such a sweet parting gift and who doesn’t love a little munchie for the drive or walk home! New Year’s Eve Banner Found this darling banner on Etsy here. So cute. Santa happened to hide a little Silhouette under my tree. But since I am intimidated to even open it . . .this might do the trick. ………………………………………………………………………………. Hope you all had an amazing Christmas and that you are off to a good start to the week. Can’t wait to see what you come up with to ring in the new year! I will be back with some of my 2011 projects that I have lined up. What do you hope to accomplish as we head into the new year? {images via Martha Stewart}

LOVE the toasting glasses. I DIYed some glasses for my sister's Christmas present and was able to bake the glasses so that the paint can stand the dishwasher. Might have to do some of these, too. So cute!

I thought those cookie sleeves were something that you would find on Etsy. I never even thought about using cd sleeves. I can't ever get enough inspiration from Ms. Stuart!

These are all fantastic ideas. Is it too early to break out the champagne?

I love the glasses with numbers. You're right- that would be super easy to do with vinyl or a paint pen! I love numbers. I think I'll have to crash your New Year's party (:
