I get emotional when thinking about how grateful I feel. This photo is near and dear to my heart as it was taken just after we lost my brother last year. I distinctly remember holding on to these hands for dear life. What I have come to learn over this past year is that life is precious, unpredictable, glorious, dumbfounding, and truly amazing all wrapped into one. We are all on a journey and for each of us the steps are different. But whether times are jubilant or tumultuous, it’s the taking the steps that makes us that much closer to realizing what life is truly about. Whatever your circumstances are this Thanksgiving, I wish you much love. I will be holding onto the ones I love and feeling very grateful for the blessings in my life. Happy Thanksgiving.

I am truly thankful that I have such a beautiful family – son, daughter-in-law, and very special grandchildren. God is good and I pray that He watch over all of you all the days of your life.

Such a sweet photo Courtney. I know your family means so much to you and it shows through in your genuine nature. You are really good at giving people grace and mercy and realizing that, even though you may not know it, people are often fighting hard battles. Love you friend.
