Growing up, my parents had a cozy room they called, “The Sitting Room.” We recreated that in this home and I’ve partnered with Wayfair to share some of our favorite vintage inspired pieces. We wanted this room to feel feminine and cozy. And bring in a touch of a European feel. It’s been a really lovely space for my daughter to enjoy with friends. And through most of her high school days, she did most of her studying from this space.
VINTAGE VIBES
I was so excited to find this mirror on Wayfair. They can be so expensive and this one is a great price. It’s the perfect romantic touch to the room. The last thing I would love to add is a soft drapery panel to the window.
CRYSTAL CHANDELIER
This chandelier is one of the first things I purchased for this home. The rug has soft pink and green tones and is beyond soft underfoot. So plush and pretty.
- softest rug ever – you won’t believe how soft it is
- coffee table – especially nice for a smaller space
- olive tree – nice to add a touch of greenery
- basket – perfect for placing a tree inside or to use for a blanket
- mirror – this is the gold version which reads as an antique gold in person
- chandelier – have loved it since the day we put it up
- velvet sofa – very similar to ours which we purchased localy

GREAT PAIR OF SWIVEL CHAIRS
Our swivel chairs are a few years old, but I found this set on Wayfair. They have really wonderful reviews and come as a set of two. I have to say that the swivel feature is a dream. We’ve loved our chairs so very much.
